"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Great post MindOverMatter! I'm going to try to get a bouncing job when I go back to UF and I've got some training to do.

I think Tha Realnezz got his mind on the hoes not the bros, that's his outlook.

The people you DONT want to fight with are the ones that are emotionally balanced about it, the ones that keep a cool head, and try to avoid it as much as possible, but they'll put you in the hospital in the blink of an eye.

My thoughts exactly!

I mean a random guy in a bar, yeah, but your roommate?

That kind of made me wonder too.

aNatural, are you sure you want to learn MA for good reasons?

Fighting is stupid. First off there are no rules to fighting which means even if you are a good fighter you've still got a very good chance at ending up in the hospital. One of my friends a while back got into a fight with a guy and he was doing well handling himself, until one of the dudes friends blind side him with a weighted pair of brass knuckles, breaking his jaw and knocking out a lot of his teeth. He had to have reconstructive surgery done just to look normal again.

Another time I was at a party on oahu drinking some tastey keg beer outside chillin. Two guys come up the drive way and the guy throwing the party said they couldn't come in. They argued with him for like 20 minutes yelling and stuff, making things up of how they knew people in there yack yack. Anyway they left and came back and tried to push they way in. The guy throwing the party and four other guys held them back but really it was just a test to see how many guys there "had balls" and 10 dudes came out of nowhere and started beating the crap out of the five guys (that's 12 on 5 for those of you keeping track).

I could go on and on with similar stories about how fights have turned out really bad for people, yes even "bad ass" people who've been trained to fight for several years in their life. I myself have done pretty under handed things in fights to tip the odds in my favor, I mean who doesn't want an advantage? So I'm telling all of you, the best thing to do some one wants to break out in a fight with you is defend yourself to the best of your abilities but look for a way out as soon as possible. Running may seem like "the p*ssy way out" but it beats getting hospitalized or worse.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

If anyone wants to know about fighting I'd suggest checking out this guy:http://www.geoffthompson.com/

He's a guy who was **** scared of fighting so he took a job as a bouncer at one of the most violent clubs in the UK in an effort to overcome his fear.

I have most of his books and they're fan-fuking-tastic.....none of this armchair martial arts bollocks.....real experience from someone who's been in more street fights than all of us combined and he tells it exactly as it is and what you need to know to keep yourself safe.

Funnily enough, like this DJ stuff,it's 90% Inner Game.
