my youngest brother is 11 and he's the typical kid who still loves to stay with his mom and obeying to everything she says... i don't think this is a good attitude to have throughout middle school (he's in 6th grade), so i'm trying to make him a bit more manly

for the last month i've been fighting with him and he really enjoys it, even though sometimes he's a bit scared or ends up a bit hurt

is this good or am i teaching him to be violent?

Kids that age are impressionable. Who knows what effect it will haev on him. How about spending time with him and showing him how a man should act instead of kicking his ass?

You're gonna be beating up on him when he's in high school... save it for then.

Beating him will not make him manly!!!

I have three older brothers. As a little kid I was beaten daily without fail for longer than I can remember, all it did was make me physically aggressive and have low self essteem from being beaten all the time. I was not a manly kid.

If you wan him to grow give him food, love and life.

But hey if he don't mind and it strengthens your bond then do it, it WILL make him stronger and a better fighter for his age.

Lol in lower school I was harder than a stack of bricks.:p

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

very true, he knows we're just playing... it's like a tournament, where we have nicknames and stuff...
