Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

So, long story short, I got in a fight with this girl who is my ex, but now my friend. Anyway, I was stupid in that I immediately apologized, and she got annoyed and blocked me (this was on AIM).

Any idea on what I should do once she wants to tlak again? Should I be honest and show that I am also pissed, should I just tell her we'll just let it go...? I dunno how to handle these things so that I don't continue to annoy her.

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Ahh, the good old..

"O fu*k me, i screwed up, sorry, o sh*t, I got blocked, d'oh"

First, wait, depending on the fight, it could take more then a week for things to cool down.

Once you talk to her, you MUST be able to get her to the state of where you can talk to her about what happened in a humane manner.

After that, wipe your brain and life goes on ^^.
