Field Report: Got a girl's number while driving!

This just happened so I wanted to give a quick post on it.

I just got done reading Drex's post about him and MAC out on the town and decided to go grab a bagel and coffee and then come back to study for a final that I have tonight.

So anyway, I'm driving back home and I pull up at a red light next to these two hotties in a white Chevy Mailibu.

So I look over at the one, make eye contact - she looks at me, smiles, I smile back (holding E.C. the whole time). Finally she looks away. She looks back again - I roll down my window and I say "Where are you girls going?" Girl in passenger seat says "I'm going to work" Where are you going?"

With an awww that's too bad look I say "Home".

She says, "Are you married?"

I say "Nope. What's your phone number?"

Bam - get #, dial into cell phone - light goes green - that's it.

Obviously could be a fake # or whatever but that's besides the point.

Given the time constraints it was the only way for me to close.

What else was I supposed to do - say "Hey grab a pen and right down my number. Don't worry about holding up traffic - they'll wait."

I got a buying signal and I closed hard.

Damn that felt good.

Just did, take their number. This is also important if you are still trying to dump your AFC ways, cuz the AFC will be waiting for her to call.

Something that sometimes works while we're driving down the highway and spot a hot chic (but you can't stop and have a talk with her) is take a whiteboard with you, put your number on it and something ****y/funny, and have your buddy hold it up if you're driving. The disadvantage is of course you have to put YOUR NUMBER down and you're limited to the interaction you can have, BUT ITS MAINLY FOR ****S AND GIGGLES ANYWAYS so its worth a shot (Don't do this expecting anything). BUT IF THEY DO CALL... whip those DJ skillz out and you should have them reeled in in no time.

Was just thinking about funny inventive ways to pick up while waiting at the lights.

Very occasionally I make little origami models, it's pretty fun and not too time consuming. Not something I took up recently, when I was a kid everyone did it.

So here's an idea I'd like to try.
Get EC, then hold up a blank sheet of paper like magician doing a card trick. Then quickly screw it up into a ball while lowering your hands below window level.

Then grab a piece of pre-made origami and hold it up to the window like a magician. Then attempt to throw the origami into her window, which will say "unfold me" somewhere visible.

Then when she unfolds it, it will say something C+F with my number.

Have yet to try it but it sounds pretty zany and fun. Should definitely get them giggling...

That's pretty funny. I'm sure you would at least get a good laugh out of it from her.
