I didn't deny that, but you got riled up and pissed off, which is something a man doesn't do at something as petty as that.
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

In this case I was insulted and over all I didn't find her to be very out going.
Yeah, you got pissed off. Yeah, you're overly obsessed with the respect thing. No, it wasn't the right thing to do.but she just pissed me off with her failure to show some damn respect.
In conclusion, I lost my cool with this girl due to her lack of respect
And that is why I say I lost my cool. I didn't have enough respect for myself to drop her right there.Originally posted by JackPrescott
Ok, lets go over a few things here. You wanted to watch a "romantic" movie with her, and she tells you she wants to see that one with another man? Wow. I'd have told her to f**k herself, and split, dropped her like a bad habit. You are being the female-like LJBF-boy if you stuck around, and still wanted to do something with her. Let me tell you a little secret about women.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.

I think OneArmDeejay and you yourself, Kevin, bring up some good points. Anybody would get frustrated when a ***** plays games like that; we've all experienced it, but I think you may have taken it too seriously in this situation.
Remember that the purpose of dates isn't just to "go somewhere and do something." The purpose is to get to know her better, and then seduce her so you can proceed to **** her. That's all it is. And if that honestly is your ultimate goal, then a petty comment about some "guy friend" shouldn't bother you too much. If it does bother you, you should try loosening up a bit more and check your ego at the door the next time you go on a date.
Furthermore if it's just your second date with this chick, wigging out because she casually mentions some other dude is just overreacting. It's not like you two are exclusive. You probably could have salvaged the date if you had loosened up and made a move on her during the movie. Again, I think it's your bitterness that had the most effect on the outcome.
My advice for next time: 1) Try to have a plan for what you want to do on the date. If you can't come up with any ideas, at least be the one who wears the pants. If you leave the choice entirely up to her like you did, it's an uphill battle. 2) RELAX, and concentrate on having a good time, and ultimately, the P. That's what you're there for.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
That and if she only goes out with you "when she has time" - A girl who is also interested is willing to share time with her friends/family rather than her family/friends first.Originally posted by JackPrescott
When she isnt interested in you, spending time with you to her is like dragging the decomposing body of a rabbit around, she doesnt want to do it, and will get rid of it at the first available moment.

At this point I would say nothing Kevin, just chill back and let her make the moves. Usually when people piss me off or acts like an idiot in front of me, my azzhole guard goes up and I care less for them.
This ho's not worth another second of your energy, let her go MAKE YOUR OWN PLANS.. use craigslist to find buddies/groups to hang out with.

hahahhahahahahaha :woo:
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
