"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I'm in college. In the course of doing my laundry, I'm walking back and forth in front of the lounge where I spy a HB8.5 talking on her cell phone. I'm wearing my sleeveless, my arms are showing, I'm wearing my jewellry and i just feel damn good.

I go upstairs, I get my pickup book (a little leather and gold autograph book with a silver Parker Pen) And I take the elevator downstairs. I walk into the loungs, smiling a little, Alpha body language. I stand right in front of her, and hold it out to her.

She stops. "What is this."
Me; Its my little autograph book.
She tells the person on the phone to hold on, and starts to actually look through it.
Me: You're M, right? You got lost the other day and was asking me for directions?
Her: Yeah....This is interesting! "GYm girl? Somebody actually wrote that!?
(The book is littered with female names and phone numbers)
Me: You're a little curious, aren't you?
Her: What am I supposed to do with this?
Me: (Still cool, sitting next to her) Write your phone number in it, silly.

(She keeps looking through it)
She finds a page, takes the pen and starts to write.
Her: Its not working!
Me: Can you write? (Neg)
Her: Yeah, I can write. Here

I take the book, and look at the page. the name comes out, but the pen dries up and the numbers are barely visible.
Her: laughing) Are you going to try to read the imprint?

Me: Nah. I don't push fate. I guess it just wasn't meant to be. Bye.

I wink and smile at her, then walk out the lounge.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Dude, no offense, but you ****** up. If you're going to put women's name and numbers in the same book, you have to write them down yourself. That way, they can't look through it.

Either that or keep their numbers in your cellphone. I'm not knocking organization, though, because I too like to keep their numbers in a central location for easy access...

You played it pretty well, but walking away seemed kinda like giving up. I would have just relaxed and either gotten the pen to work or gotten another pen and told her to write it down again. Why do you even need an autograph book anyway? Is that your way of showing off because the woman might be quick to think that. Just let her write it in your cellphone, it never fails, you don't need any special way of getting the # down. Good work there at the end with the wink and nice line. Unfortunately you might not see her again for a long time though, so it might not matter how you ended it.

I don't know about you but I've long ago mastered memorizing email addresses and phone numbers.

At any rate, "Can you write?" is not a neg. It's just plain mean unless done in a very specific way.

You have to make it OBVIOUSLY insulting in such a way that it's not ... like... "Geez, Women: they just break everything they touch... that was my favorite pen!"

anyway I wouldn't say it went wrong

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

When you like it stick with your little book.

Only one hint cause you are talking about "superconfident approach". First goal of an ideal approach should be an instant date and same day fvck. If not possible, then at least try to kiss her. If not possible getting her phone number/ exchanging numbers should only be a last ressort if nothing else is working (for example one of you is in a hurry).

Yeah sure, she'll be coming back, maybe months from now when she finally sees him again.
How is, "Can you write?" a mean thing to say? Hahahahaha. A neg. is when you say something bold with a straight face like the girl doesn't mean shi-t to you, not just being sarcastic and laughing everything off like you're not serious.... that would just be a regular way of being co-cky/funny, not a true neg. For instance I might say, "Nice pants. What happened, did they run out of khakis at abercrombie and fitch?"
I keep it light, but pretend to be serious too.

Milkman, while we would all love to accomplish getting a date or sex on the first approach, for many that would screw them up because they come on so strong.... I mean a woman likes a LITTLE challenge, and there you leave her with none. If you know how to consistently pull this off, please write it in this thread, because I'd really like to know.

Brother stop tripping, you did an excellent job. The pen didn't work and you didn't go out of your way just to go get another one. The next time you see her ask her out or get a number. You are reading way too much into it.

Great job!

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

This isn't a debate about negs, but the severity of the neg depends on the girl. I personally don't pu-ssy foot around with the hot girls.... my neg. serves the purpose of taking them off their pedestal and getting their attention. You want to get her thinking: "Who IS this son of a bi-tch?!"
"Can you write?" is perfectly within the boundaries.
I commonly make fun of their clothes, their silly habits, anything like that that isn't too personal. A neg. is just a super coc-ky statement really, nothing more.... you're not trying to be hurtful or mean.
Furthermore, a neg. is YOUR test for HER. Hopefully she quickly loses the bit-chy attitude, and quits her silly tests on you, but if not, she fails your test. You turn the tables on her so to speak.
Obviously if the girl is clearly depressed or unhappy/in a bad mood, you want to steer clear of negs.

The neg you are thinking of comes with a little compliment:
"Nice boots... you workin' mainstreet tonight?"
Something like that. There is really not much difference between the two, because the neg "hit" completely overrides any compliment you gave her.
Do what you do, just remember to be flexible in your game.

I think you played that off beautifally. You DHV (demonstrated higher value), and it seemes that you oozed out alpha confidence. She will definetly be interested next time you see her.
