"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

first of all I want to mention that I try my hardest to get off the phone after 5 minutes. but she keeps insisting that I stay on. for example I would be like "well im gonna do my laundry now, i will talk to you later" but she's like "nooo... i will hold on, you can just do it and i will wait" and I just can't get off the phone with her unless it comes off as being mean and I'm not sure if this is good or not. Any tips on what to do if she keeps saying like "i'll wait" or "you can go eat your food and I will wait for you"

secondly, I am in need of ideas on great first dates or where you can take a woman for the first few "outings" you go to. She already told me she hates typical stuff. she doesn't like the "dinner & a movie" kind of thing. so I'm just clueless on other things to do at night time. I want to stay away from places like D&B or clubs. Wouldn't a Bar be bad as well? Any ideas on things to do for first few outings other than the typical?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Doesn't sound like you're being stern enough. You can bust on her, say something like 'what are you, obsessed with me? I bet you have a room full of pictures of me...' (in a joking manner) or something like that. Or just cut it off, say 'I gotta go, I'll call you later, peace.' It's not that hard, just do it, it's a motto for a reason ;).

The rule of thumb with picking places, pick a place you'll enjoy. Only you know where that place is. I've taken dates to the run down fun center (called Scandia here.) Mini golf, go karts, arcades even the batting cage (chance for some mad kino at the cage and mini golf.) I usually revel in kicking her butt in everything :woo:, and I love it, and she (usually) loves it.

You:"Well, I'm gonna do my laundry now, I will talk to you later."
Her "Nooo... I will hold on, you can just do it and i will wait."
You: Ya know...if you really wanted to impress me you'd come over and do it for me!

Same when you try to go eat. "Hey Baby? Why don't you ever cook for me?"

Date ideas: Put-put golf, hiking, bowling, playing pool, pic-nic in the park, rollerskating, boat ride, horseback ride, play video games at an arcade, local theme park, naked vollyball....think of something!

(Just a word of warning:She sounds very clingy. These are the girls that end up calling you 47 times a night screeching "WHY DON"T YOU EVER CALL ME BACK? DON'T YOU LIKE ME ANY MORE? WHY WON'T YOU TALK TO ME!!!!" )
