Fertilizer explosion in Beirut

It happened almost a week ago, workers at the port of Beirut (that's in Lebanon, country above Israel) were doing some welding and started a fire, which ignited some fireworks, and that in turn ignited a ship load of ammonium nitrate which was stored at the port after it was confiscated some years ago from a Georgian weasel.

You are going to find on the internet fake videos showing a missile prior to explosion. It is done by either neo nazis or arabs, somebody who has interest in terrorist activities against Israel. It was a simple fertilizer explosion. Same type of stuff that blew up in Oklahoma city, only in much bigger quantities. Once it hardens, which it does over time, it can be detonated with some mechanical force, like a hummer hit. There are certain storage guidelines for ammonium nitrate, and storage time is 9 months, that stuff was stored for 3 years as some reports indicate. It's a human factory, like always.

It is somewhere around 1500 tons of TNT, or 1.5 kilotons. Hiroshima was 15 kilotons. Chelyabinsk meteor was 500 kilotons or half a megaton.
