The news of Gov Spitzer (NY) being caught paying for a prostitute has been getting a lot of play recently. I just caught segment on the network news that asked why the wives (always accomplished women, blah blah) of these men (i.e., Spitzer, Senator Vitter of LA, former POTUS Clinton, etc.) stick around.

My being a member of this community, the answer was clear:

Women want men that other women want (or alternatively, men that can get other women.)

And you know what's funny about this anti-male, pro-female media? They always place all the blame, if there even is any blame (they'll make blame up), on the man. According to them, it can't possible be the wife's fault one iota, and it's not women being prostitutes and taking money from married men to blame one iota either. No it's alsways the man's fault! this is blatant sexism even "hate speach" on their part, and men just have to take it?

Hold on to your wigs. This situation brought up a discussion with women in my neck of the woods about whether they would prefer their husbands to spend the money on escorts or give the wives the money to do to their husbands what the escorts did. THEN the discussion came up about the trend of married men paying their wives to have sex with them period! Saying that they are too tired  there are wives who won't bed their husbands without getting paid and there are wives who would give their husbands one or two "gimmies" a week but would have to get paid for anything over and above!!! What's worse is that they say that their husbands are ok with the arrangement!!! WHAT THE FVCK IS GOING ON???!!!

This just looks like more proof to my theory that women are naturally and normally opportunistic prostitutes lol. And they like to perpetuate the myth that they're never horny and don't like sex (kepp the perception of supply low). An obvious comeback to these women is "well you also have to look as hot and sexy as the 23 year old hooker" haha.

Let me make some things clear. I believe prostitution should be legalized.

Having said that... here is my opinion on the Gov Spitzer situation.

1- The "women want men that other women want" is NOT applicable here. Spitzer PAID for sex.

2- I personally don't care if they have affairs...but cheating on a wife with a PROSTITUTE? That is way too much.

3- He made his fame out of Prosecuting (as a District Attorney) men for doing the exact same thing. His current actions makes him a hypocrite.

4- He broke the law by crossing state lines (moving prostitute across state lines).

"2- I personally don't care if they have affairs...but cheating on a wife with a PROSTITUTE? That is way too much" - I have MIX feelings about this one, by the way. As if I had the same fame and $$$ as some of this Governors and Senators...that might be the only way of doing it. So, I might change my mind on #2.

It's almost sad that Sptizer's political career is going to end in such a humiliating way. The guy had everything going for him. I'm a man of consistency, and looking at Spitzer's track record, I say he is still a capable and smart politician who has always fought against the wrongdoers. I understand that this scandal is a terrible thing but we're not all perfect. I'm in no way excusing his behavior but if it were up to me, I'd still let the guy do his work because, simply and get ready for this, he just kicks ass at what he does.

Get this, the ones who are doing it are getting together with their girlfriends during their "Oprah Book Club" meeting and teach their friends how to get their husbands to but into it! One of the things that they say that they should tell their husbands is that this is a way to insure that the guys get sex a certain number of times a week. That if they don't the wives would have to pay retribution (going to bed naked for a week). They say that the guys are going for it! These guys must be major AFCs who don't believe that they can get from anyone else. Madness...

I don't disagree with that. However, he prosecuted a lot of men for the same crime. He is NOT above the law...and HYPOCRISY is not a good character for ANY politician.

What I have against Spitzer and before you praise him personally is this:

3- He made his fame out of Prosecuting (as a District Attorney) men for doing the exact same thing. His current actions makes him a hypocrite.
I don't think prostitution should be illegal in the first place so transporting a prostitute across state lines should be a non-issue too and not an additional charge. And so I definitely don't think someone should be brought down by prostitution in general. But because of his hypocrisy, I would never praise Spitzer. And if prostitution is illegal and it is, he should be the first to be punished for it having prosecuted others for the same thing. Looks like what goes around comes around in this case.

edit: Latinoman I didn't see your last post before I posted.

That is madness. Why should they pay in any way to have sex with their wives when they can get it somewhere else for free, or pay for something younger and hotter, and either way getting variety instead the same old thing they had many times before. And on top of that who'd want to sexually please a b!tch wife like that. I say fight fire with fire and freeze her out too and get it some where else lol.

Exactly.

I rather pay for sex with a younger and NEWER experience...than for my wife (if I was married).

And heaven forbid you can get it for free, just sayin'...

But here's a question for everyone, anyone ever see a couple without children (and not wanting any) ever fight about lack of sex?

Just sayin'...

Good point, Francisco.
Actually, from what I've seen they have less things to fight about (if they are compatible), and when they do fight, they more readily come to solutions. Could it be that there are less distractions? That other than work, all they have is each other and they have to deal with one another without having anything to easily hide behind. Interesting concept, don'cha think?

I say if your wife withholds sex or lets herself go (gets too fat), then you have EVERY right to use ANY means to satisfy your desires, and that means going to a hooker. It's amazing to me how they say most marriages end because of money. This is a lie. Most marriages end because of blackmail by the bride using the concealing and revealing of her pu5sy, which in turn causes the money problems. A man cannot think rationally on money matters when a pus5y is presented before him.

Probably the wife is simply keeping up appearances for her own agenda. Either for her political career (like Hillary) or for money, or something else. For Spitzer, by the body language of the wife, I'd say she'll divorce him once all this dies down.

I don't think it's fair to say that this could be the wife's fault. When you get married and have kids you make a commitment. If things are not working out or if there are problems, you need to work them out or honorably end the marriage. You don't go out and humiliate the mother of your children, break the law, and risk STDs. What ever happened to the Don Juan principles that we've been teaching on this site all these years? To say that you can cheat on your wife because of problems in the marriage is weak, cowardly, and dishonorable.

I see the hypocrisy argument/sentiment you're coming from, but take a look at his entire record first. For starters, take a look at this section on his Wiki:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eliot_Spitzer#Work_as_Attorney_General

I was making a point by saying that it breaks my heart to see such an accomplished politician end his career in such a tragic way. Keep in mind that tragedy here isn't that his career is ending, the tragedy is that he decided to do something unethical and illegal.

At the end of it all, I always ask myself: How would I like to be him right now? How would I like it to see my entire legacy burn down in flames over something so....what's the word, ridiculous?

Do you see where I'm coming from, ketostix and Latinoman?

I blame the wife. She been with him say 20 years and didn't see something was off. If a wife is doing her part in keeping the spark going the husband will not seek strange. He is not getting something from his wife so he went to get it elsewhere.

Come on my man. Every dude I know risk it all to go out and cheat. Men always seem to be the one that loses everything anyway no matter if he cheated or got left by his wife for some other dude. I do agreed about the humiliating himself and breaking the law though.
