With all the threads devoted to feminism on the forum, you'd almost forget what this site is supposedly about. Are we here to get laid like champions or what??

Yes I will admit, there is a lot of propaganda in the media, and women today are completely off their rockers. What else is new? How is this really affecting you??

I get into the same conversations with people who go on and on about conspiracy theories and if there is one thing that unites all these different persons, it is the fact that they's powerless in their own lives. Even more than that, its almost like they get off on the fact that they have no control.

You know what's ironic? The most vocal opponents of feminism I know are girly boys, fragile sensitive little creatures who are not worthy of the title of Man. In my opinion, it is these types of dudes that allow feminism to exist, as if they need an oppressor to feel a sense of purpose.

Fact of the matter is, we live in a MANs world. We make more loot, we run the governments, global corporations and we are considered sexy well into our 60s. There is really no excuse for whinging when we got it so made. Sure women have made some headways but make no mistake my brothers, WE run this joint.

Get a grip fool! :box:

I can prove to you with a simple test that even the media is still our b/tch

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLF6sAAMb4s&feature=player_embedded

I challenge you victims out there to take this test and apply it to any movie:

1. Are there two or more women characters with names?
2. Do they have any dialogue between them?
3. Do they talk about anything besides men?

You'd be surprised how few pass this test. Put the shoe on the other foot and as a woman, you could just as easily feel oppressed by a system which treats you as a commodity, better seen than heard.

So quit behaving like emasculated pansies, punch yourself in the nuts to make sure you still got em - and keepitmovin son. In the final analysis, if you know how to control yourself and take charge of situations, then even the most bulldyke, trailer-butt feminist can't phase you.

Remember this if nothing else:

a woman will only be as much a woman as you are a man!

Know your role!

Actually, we dont own ****. All those movies are movies TARGETTED at men. Action, sports, career, violence, money etc.

There are just as many movies out there that are TARGETTED at women. They are the ones that we dont go to see. Love, romance, relationships, etc.

I could make a huge list myself of movies that are sexist and are only aimed at women and have no masculine themes or interests. We dont want to go see that stuff, thats just for women, thats sexism!

Truth is, it has nothing to do with feminism or sexism. It has to do with target audience and making money in the movie industry. To go and complain that movies that are aimed at men have less feminine presence is idiotic, because they're not supposed to! Mens movies invovle male characters, womens movies involve female characters.

Again, unreasonable feminist video.

Thanks for chiming in, I appreciate the candor of your response.

However, your argument is moot, because even chick flicks fail this test. Sure they pass 1 and 2 - but really what do these dumb broads end up talking about? That's right - MEN (and maybe shopping). 95% are romantic comedies for chrissakes.

See, it really don't matter who the target audience is. The message is always the same, and its that women dont have anything worth saying outside the realm of relationships. Yes nowadays they can talk loud but they really aint saying nothing. Not because they aren't equipped, but because they are programmed to not develop any character, and instead cultivate the qualities that will hook a man who has developed himself.

This is why the whole feminist conspiracy is blown wayyyy out of proportion. There simply aren't enough facts to back it up. You guys look at a few edge cases and think the world is going to hell in a handbasket woven by angry dykes.

The fact that you think we don't run this whole planet is mind-boggling. What reality do you live in? We own everything my dude. Who runs the movie industry? Show me ONE female CEO who runs a major production house and I will show you thousands of men. We run the lion's share of all media outlets - TV, Radio, Advertising, Print even something as open and democratic as the internet is dominated by men.

I've held jobs in a few of these industries and I can assure you that the highest level female worker at any place has been a junior management position, MAX. At the top of the pyramid it's one big Boy's Club

So I'm sorry but I'm not buying this "woe is us" BS, because it's still a man's world.

Which gender forms the staggering majority of world leaders? MEN

Which gender owns major TV networks? MEN (mostly jewish at that)

Which gender writes most of our nation's laws? MEN

You are buying into a lame victim mentality which is designed to give you the illusion of enlightenment, but really just makes you weak. You've left one Matrix, only to jump headfirst into another.

I like your idea. After all if we act like ****less wimps it obviously invites the feminist theory. And I agree that hardcore sexists (men or women) have deeper issues. But remember that although women aren't always on paper as writing laws and running governments, they usually have a subtle but important hand in influencing matters. Like Henry VIII and the Church.

@Groovy - I understand that not everyone is here to be a mega playboy / PUA. I just got out of a 5-year relationship myself and personally like the idea of xplaying the field right now. But I fail to see how complaining about feminism helps a guy reach any of his goals, inner game or not.

@mikeyb - thanks for hitting on that crucial point. Many men are influenced by women, many times to their own detriment. But that has more to do with them failing to maintain their ground, than some feminist agenda. It's human nature for people to desire control and power. If you fail to "wear the pants", is it really that much of a surprise when you find your woman sporting them and giving you orders? Wherever a vacuum of power exists, someone will swoop in to fill it. That applies to both genders tho.

It does, because thats exactly what women want to watch. Its a product thats tailored to them.

You make a good point about what we own and the dominance of males. But fact is society is feminized. Society is emasculating men. A combination of factors has caused it.

A better place, a better time.

Kill Bill
Death Proof

You're right though, that is hard, and Quentin is definitely a bit of a feminist in his own right.

Wasn't feminism just about gender equality and removing the negative social stigma of promiscuous sex for women? I don't see how either of those things are bad...

Give em an inch, they take a mile. If you do your homework tho, you will find that much of feminism's roots are built on myths and outright lies. Women never had it as bad as you were made out to believe. There is definitely an agenda here and it's good to be aware of it, but we should be mindful of where we direct our time and energy.

People talk about society like its some kind of monster living in the mountains. As such its pretty easy to blame it for a score of problems, ranging from emasculation to racism and intolerance.

But beyond the cliches, and within the fabric of society lies the truth. We are the building blocks, the fibers which are woven into this massive tapestry. Every time you say "society is feminized" you are really saying "we feminize ourselves". The very act of stating it also gives the idea more power, makes it more concrete and unmovable.

Now it is true, that there are a staggering amount of manginas out there. I wont deny it. But to pin it on feminism is very myopic, and gives those dykes far much more credit than they deserve.

What we see now is a consequence of evolution. We have always been adaptable but the changes have never come this quickly. A hundred years ago we were just figuring out electricity. People were still riding HORSES for the love of god - look at us now! Look at how complex everything got in such a short span of time. Back in the day you didnt have time to feel sorry for yourself, or intimidated by women. If you were too weak you just DIED, and humanity was spared your subpar genetics. If you were strong, you already had all the traits that made you attractive, and nature handled everything else.

The rate of man's feminization is directly correlated to his distance from nature.

In an artifical world everything is handed to us - our survival needs are met by default. As a result you have a lot of dudes walking around who shoulda been killed off a long time ago. It sounds cruel, but nature isnt exactly known for its bleeding heart. In a sense, civilization has made us too civilized. Few men today know what its like to physically fight tooth and nail to meet their needs. But we can't deny what we are - encoded in our genes is that ancestral warrior, which needs an adversary, a battle to earn his peace.

The soul etched in our DNA is completely lost in a modern world. Gone is the era of the ubiquitous hunter, slathered in sweat and the blood of his prey. Far and few are the gatherers hands beaten and weathered by the toils of the earth. The warriors have all but vanished in favor of complacent, fat-ass losers who will probably never leave the confines of their mundane, cookie-cutter existences. This isn't feminism at play - it's simple cause and effect.

The very essence of man is the warrior, and without anything to fight or die for - OF COURSE we become emasculated!

Its a hard truth to face, but we did this to ourselves and are a bunch of whiny hypocrites. Me included. We've moaned endlessly about the ills of society yet are first in line to enjoy all the benefits it provides. Human nature is infinitely lazy, which has led to much innovations and with that, many downfalls.

But we dont like to think about the latter. We'd rather shake a finger at society or anything else beyond our control, cause it we didn;t fück up. Nope, not us!

That is how these ho's get more credence than they have earned. Feminism is just one overfed scapegoat that needs to be sacrificed already. It is but one of many faces of extremism, which does not define the whole of society IN THE LEAST. Sure there are trends, but we are still (thankfully) far too dynamic and chaotic to fit into such narrow labels. Dont get me wrong - I see these bîtches out there, with their droves of slackjawed yes-men

BUT

Its my choice on whether or not to focus on them.

It's like someone once told me - When you're in love, all you see are couples in love. When you break a leg, there are casts everywhere. The truth is that our world, is made of whatever we focus and devote our attention to. We all live on the same earth but nobody sees it quite the same. That doesn't fascinate people nearly as much as it should!
