"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I have a problem trying to maintain friendships with women. I really enjoy hanging out with women, but each time I get to know one pretty well she will get a crush on me. I've never been friends with a woman that didn't end up telling me they thought of me as more than friends.

How do you deal with women that are great friends but not someone you want to be involved with?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

You simply tell them that you JUST see them as friends, and nothing more, and if they can accept having ONLY your friendship, then great, if they get hurt or whatever and never want to speak to you again etc, then its their loss. Its as simple as that. No need to complicate the situation.

It doesn't work...I've tried it. They just end up going all weird for no logical reason and it's really damn annoying.

Just be glad that you don't have to put up with female bullsh1t (without the sex) and spend time with guy mates instead.

Works for me:rolleyes: ;) You just need to make it clear to them and tell them in an appropriate manner, and an important thing, is that u need to look at them in the same way.. often guys tend to start acting differently towards the girl after he tells her this, which leads to her actiong wierd as well... just try it, and if it doesnt work out, then come back here and we'll make a plan;)

.....don't even make friends with girls in the first place. That's what bros are for.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

This usually works fine for me too. A number of female friends have revealed feelings for me, and I politely let them know nothing is going to come of it. I treat it as no big deal and continue being friends.

Of course, some women are only interested in sex or dating you and will cut off the friendship as soon as they're rejected. This just proves they are not worth keeping as friends. But some of the women I've rejected are my closest friends these days.

So you are saying that a guy musnt have any girl friends? I suggest you rethink your theory/way of thinking.... I mean... are you telling me that you dont have any girl friends? I dont believe that for even 1 second, and if its true, then u are trully a sad case. I can actually trust some of my chick friends more than i can trust my GUY friends... chicks are GREAT friends to have, and if u dont have them as friends, then ur missing out and being stupid in my eyes. Now that i thik about it, about 50% of my friends are chicks!

And i like what Jariel said:

^--- enough said.

My closest girl friend is a girl that wanted to sleep with me on my 18th and i rejected.... so yes, some girls will take "rejection" badly, but then you get the TRUE friends that will accept it and act as if nothing happened without having that arkward sexual tention between the 2 of you. But i say again, if you dont want the girl to be "wierd" about it, then u also need to NOT be wierd about it and act as if its nothing big and just forget about it. ;)

Just make sure that they see you hanging out with other women. This is extremely easy when the other women are their friends too. If you and her friends are out together make sure you pay equal attention to all of the women there.

Give the appearance that you enjoy all of them equally and that you are not giving any single one the bulk of your attention. This way it would be difficult for one to fell that feelings for you are equally reciprocated.

Actually buddy, I USED to have a bunch of girls for friends. Guess what? When I ditched them and stuck to my bros my life was so much better. To each his own. Don't give me this superior attitude you pompous jack@ss. Stupid in your eyes? Your eyes aren't worth sh1t buddy. When I said what I said, I didn't put him down. I just gave my view without insulting him. I expect the same respect from people who respond to me.

In my experience, guys make much better and loyal friends than girls because all the ones I've met have tried to start sh1t. Just because my experiences are not congruent with yours, it doesn't make me stupid. It makes me observant of my own experiences. I suggest giving a little more respect in your future reponses if you want any in return.

hmmm.....

TillTheEndOfTime: if you read what i said correctly, i said that u are a sad case if u dont HAVE any girl friends which i find hard to believe, because i'm sure that u have a few girl friends.

And you are right... YOUR girl friends arent MY girl friends, and my experiances with them differ from yours, but i was just giving my opinion from MY experiances with girl friends. So if i offended you in any way, i appologise, that was not my intention at all. I simply dont agree with your saying of:

....don't even make friends with girls in the first place. That's what bros are for.

And i think that i would understood u better if u included what u said in your reply to me :

In my experience, guys make much better and loyal friends than girls because all the ones I've met have tried to start sh1t.
*sigh*
