"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I have been working and going to school in Boston for the past 5 months and noticed the T (green line) is loaded with Babes. Heck, one could have fun just riding the T all day and people watch.

My question is, have any of you ever gotten dates or numbers off of the T? I have once and have gotten a couple of smiles. I think it may be a decent place to meet chicks.

What has your experience been?

Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

Really, I don't see why getting a number of the Boston T would be any different than getting a phone number off any other train. I've never been to Boston, but I can tell you from experience that public transportation is a great place to meet girls and get phone numbers.

The same applies to any place where you will be near a girl for even a short amount of time and not be too busy that you can't talk.

I don't even have to know anything about the Boston T to tell you that it is a great place to meet girls. It seems pretty plain to me that it would be.

If you think my lack of knowledge about the Boston T disqualifies me from giving you this advice, go ahead and prove me wrong. Only one way to do that!

I'm sure you'll get lots of numbers if you only try

Yes, you are correct and I should of extended it to meeting chicks on trains in general.

My other theory is, when young and single, try and live close to a quite large urban area. Although I work and live in Boston, I live in Marlborough which is out in the sticks (and thus stinks socially)

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Sorry dude, Boston people are really cold. You seat right next to someone, and they don't even look at you. They are in ther own world. Yeah some babes on the T that go to school here are from other states, but they learn fast too :)

Peope in big cities are cold in general. I'm from a fairly small town, where it's not uncommon to say hi to everyone who happens to pass you on the sidewalk. When I went to NYC, I was stunned by how cold some people are - but also with how I was barraged by people trying to beg me for money or otherwise scam me out of it. I spent 2 hours walking down the streets before I wanted to start carrying a sign that said "LEAVE ME THE F*CK ALONE!" By day three, I had learned not to make eye contact with strangers or aknowledge them in any way. The second you accidentally show even the smallest nugget of interest, they're all over you like hounds.

When you start up a conversation with a stranger in a place like this, the first thing they're thinking is "Uh oh, what does this guy want from me?" Just ignore the initial coldness, and make conversation. Most people will warm up when they realize that you don't have an agenda. Many of these 'cold' people, you will find, actually crave a decent conversation with a kind stranger who isn't trying to get money from them somehow.

Expect a bit of coldness at first, but play with it. Tease them, let them know you're just having fun and making conversation.
