"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Ok guys I am utterly confused. There is this girl who is my friend for about 10 months. She is an extremely intresting person and probably knows more than some of my guy friends. Well during these 10 months she was totally under my thumb. But I never saw her as a relationship material and never kinoed or anything, but was always ****y and funny and I was a MAN. But over the past two weeks I started liking her. No this is not oneitis coz on my scale of crush-o-meter where 100 is total chumpiness and 80 is onei-tis, its only abt 15 or 20 for her. She is also pretty good looking, atleast a 8.5. I read the "Get rejected" post here and wanted to see how it feels, so I told her that I like her. She said "we are just friends" lblah blah blah, which I really don't mind coz till like 2 weeks ago that's what she was. Then I thought I should "move on". Now the thing is I really want to be her friend, coz she is good looking and is a good social proof and she has some really hot friends. So I feel that due to my stupidity I lost the "key" to a roomfull of her hot friends. So should I talk to her and say "Awryt I like your company and we should indeed stay friends" or should I just move on? I am seeing other people on the side, but she is a really good girl. I don't care if we don't have a relationship but she is hot and I need all the social proof I can get. Infact I got a few numbers when I was actually with her at a mall. These days I am working with a prof and also working out and what not and my life is very intresting. She herself has said that I am prolly the most intresting person she met. And I know she totally values my friendship. I am 400% sure about that.

What should I do? Should I tell her ljbf or what? I am in engineering so as someone said in another thread there aren't too many females here let alone hot females.

What should I do?

Thanx for the help guys.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

First of all.....**slap**

Dont follow every bit of advice you see on this forum. To much of it is bullsh!t these days.

You should defo get that "key" back.....However make sure thats what your doing. Make sure you set the ground rule....and that is not under ANY curcumstance you will not do anything with her. Even if she comes onto you.

Make sure your not tricking yourself into some oneitis.

Give her the LJBF line. Say you dont know what you were thinking the other night....just say you werent being yourself or something. Say you had some stress and wernt thinking straight.....any bull will do.

Get her back as a friend. Friends should always be valued.

Keep her as just a friend if you want her to be a key to her fit firends. Never take it further.

She told you that you are just friends. And you are "telling us" thats all you want as well. Which means there is no problem - yet you have one.

Something doesn't add up - maybe you should honest with yourself.
