"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Hi all

As probably all of you have noticed, you can feel more confident one day than the next. Or it may even be in longer periods.
Now this is driving me crazy, because at the moment I need the confidence, I don't have it and vice versa.

Of course this has something to do with something. But I'm wondering what this something is. I've tried looking for thought patterns, habits,... which could bring me down. But I can't seem to figure it out.

Has anyone else overcome this and figured out what your problem was?

Thanks!

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Try smiling more, your naturally more happy when you smile. Even if your in a bad mood, if you smile it can lift you. I've found that I reach that good quality confident mode when I'm happy/in a good mood.

Your confidence could also be dependent on the situation.

A lot of things are context related.

A drummer might be confident playing drums but be nervous speaking in public.

A man might feel comfortable having fun, playful conversations with women but be nervous about asking them out.

The Crocodile Hunter was confident in murky waters with crocs but he was nervous and had butterflies on his wedding day.

Simply notice your consistent reactions to certain situations. That's one way to tell if it is situational.
