"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Fellas, are there ever days that u feel like an AFC, when u are all shy, quiet and dont say much? Today was one of those the days. My AFC tendencies came back in that i was too shy to talk to any of my female classmates and I didn't seem confident and was very shy/quite in class. I dont know why. What are some good suggestions for me to get rid of those AFC tendencies? Let me know.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Sometimes you may not feel very social and don't feel like talking much. It happens to everyone at times. People get mood swings. It doesn't make you an AFC. It makes you human. Unless this is a frequent problem that occurs on an almost daily basis.

Yo Till, I know what u mean. In the class before, I was basically a social animal talkin to everyone, jokin round and bein a dominant presence. But today in class, for some reason i was subdued. Like when I came in to class, a group of people were talkin bout when they lost their virginity and when they asked me, I was reluctant to tell em cause I don't want the whole world knowing my business. In other words, even though I told em i came across as shy due to my reluctance to mention my sexual history. Whats the best way for me to regian that "social/dominant" prescense like the class before? Hopefully people wont judge me just on what they saw today.

Down South. Between the Y junction.
You are having an AFC re-lapse.. It means the principles and knowledge you have gained has not fully merged into your persona yet!! You're relapsing to your former self... your true self maybe??? You need more practice

however clinically, I'd say you're simply depressed....

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

You got to pump yourself up in the morning when you wake up. Don't get out of bed grumbling and moaning about this and that. Listen to music you like, do some short stretches and exercises to get your blood flowing. Bad circulation can lead to feelings of fatigue and depression.

I like the mind-body approach. I used to be a very shy and timid person a few years ago. However I've slowly built myself in a dominant man. I started with changing my diet. Looking after what I put in my body. You'd be amazed at how much what you eat can affect you emotionally and mentally.

I then went on to positive reinforcement instead of the stupid negative reinforcement I used to subject myself to (i.e. I'm not good looking enough, don't have enough talent, etc). I just kept telling myself how great a guy I am and how I would be someone important when I grow up. I basically learned how to love myself, respect myself, and project a dominanting personality. It got so dominant to the point that I started intimidating some of my lab partners at school when they did something wrong. I wasn't rude or mean, but I projected myself as an authority figure, so I basically got a response from them as if I was a prof or something lol.

Lastly when things got slow in my life, either at work or school, I'd invest in a hobby. I'm an electrical engineer and my hobby is a reflection of this. I like doing circuit design and I take pride in my work. This gives me a sense of satisfaction in myself.

So to summarize, work on your diet, exercise, positive reinforcement, and invest in a hobby you can be proud of which will make you feel good about yourself. If you do all of this properly, you will come out a new man.

I agree with your post TillTheEndofTime. I grew up watching my parents fight and bicker at each other frequently. My father is a straight up AFC. Accordin to my mom, when they met he used to call her 2-3 times a day, would always want to know where she was goin and all. Plus when she'd want to go bowling with her friends, he'd start pouting and my mom would feel guilty and give in. He was basically clingy and all, according to my mom. After I was born, things really took a turn for the worse. For example when my dad gets angry, he will cuss out my mom very frequently. There has not been a day where i have not heard my father cuss my mom. In addition, he forbids her to spend certain amount of money. In addition, if my mom is a few minutes late, he'll blow up her phone for no reason. when he and my mom communicate, he is too serious and no feelings of warmth and joy in him. With my mom bein treated like this by my AFC dad, she took out her anger on me by brainwashing and wussifying me and makin me into an AFC. My mom would tell me, always treat a woman like a queen, never touch(kino) a woman or she'll slap you/call the cops on you, always buy her flowers and gifts, tell her you love her, do all the housework, always obey her, take her to fancy restaurants, etc. I did sum of that stuff with my first g/f(who i lost my virginity too) and as a result, I learned the hard way. It was only a year ago, I realized that I am an AFC and that i need to change. Right now, the path to recovery is continuing. The DJ Bible and reading your guys comments has really helped me because it is teaching me that I am the prize and there are many women that love me and that women are like any human being on this earth. The problem with AFCs is that they get offended by any sort of criticism. For me, Im glad that TillTheEndofTime is telling me the truth and is upfront because it will only help me become a better man and better at picking up women.
