Yesterday, I texted a girl I worked with asking her to grab drinks when she gets back into town. Long story short, she never responded and when she does according to a friend it will be a no.

With all of this, I have never felt better. My whole life I have always been afraid to go after what I wanted. This caused me to miss out on so many opportunities. Now I realized I had no reason to fear anything. The worst thing that can happen is a no response or a no. For me as long as I don't have regrets I win.

Like Thomas Edison, "I didn't fail. I just found out 10000 ways it won't work."

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

What I'm learning is that 1. action trumps inaction every time and 2. most people choose inaction (and therefore dream about it) because they don't want to know the truth. Take action, know the result, and base your decisions off of reality, not what you want/wish/think it to be.

Yea I know from experience inaction sucks. I rather fail 2000 times in a row because at least you tried and really that's all you or anybody else could expect.
