Fashion help- north face mountain light parka with lumbar pack

When its winter season, all i wear is my kenneth cole peacoat but i also have a north face mountain light parka that i use to wear when i was 18-19. I am 21 now so I don't really like dressing that style that much. I also have a north face lumbar pack... its like a fanny pack.

Do you people say its fashionable to wear a north face mountain light parka with a north face lumbar pack put around your butt? I heard so many jokes about fanny packs but the north face lumbar pack doesn't really look that funny. However, i feel that wearing these 2 things makes me look young.

i have 1 more year of college left but that style used to be good when i was back in high school and early college. I feel like wearing only peacoats in winter season instead of north faces b/c north face looks dull and boring and mostly everyone wears it.

Thoughts?

I would ditch the northface then, wear something unique that will make you stick out in a crowd of northface fleeces.

Dude, north face is for 15 year old suburban girls with self esteem issues.
When i came back from a road trip with my friends, i walked into this fast food place by my house. There was a table right next to ours of about 5-6 girls and i swear to you every single girl at the table had a different colored north face fleece.
Some had the same color but you get the point. POSERS...

YES thats what i mean. Finally someone agrees with me. I also come from a place where theres theres a lot of ghetto people and they wear those big North Face Snorkels... those big north face jackets with fur etc.

I also see older ppl wearing north face but it doesn't look good anymore b/c most people wear it. Would you wear north face or is it just not fashionable anymore?

Ehh well depends, the friends i have now all hate those kinds of things, but that's because of the person i have become and the people i've surrounded myself with. I guess those other people would call me a "hater", but i don't care i think wearing north face is really childish. It's like in the third grade when everyone had to have the nike's. It was fine back then but now it just gets irritating that some people are still so insecure that they need to wear north face to make themselves feel better.

So to anwser your question... yes it is uncool and very white to wear a north face fleece. No person in the ghetto could afford a north face fleece.

Umm i am not talking about ghetto people wearing north face fleece. I am talking about those BIG north face snorkels with fur big coats that they wear. Like the ones 50 cent wear.. those north faces.

I am not particularly talking about north face fleeces. I 'm more talking about the jackets and big jackets.

Almost all my guy friends wear it and i find it really dull b/c they all look the same. I look at ppl like brad pitt and those hollywood people and whenever they wear a big jacket when its cold... its never those jackets. It's always some stylish peacoat which is why i only wear peacoats now.
