"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Real quick info on situation. With GF for almost 2 years and lived with her for like 8-9 months. Purchased a dog together. Shes in college getting her masters. We broke up a couple of weeks ago. Shes stressed about school understandable and didnt want any distractions cause basically this semester effects the rest of her life she has to writ e a thesis do her research etc. serious stuff. I think her friend told her she needs to at the least take a break from me for the semester not quite sure though. Girls always listen to each other. Its somewhat understandable. Honestly its not about her finding someone new or anything its about having this important time to herself.

Saw her once so far slept with her got in a fight. talked to her maybe 5 times at the most in the last couple weeks. Called her only one time last week didnt even talk to her. She called on Sat to tell me about her problems normal stuff. I was about to go out so told her i would call her today and i did. We made plans last week for her to come down so I can take care of the dog for a week but she had a deadline to meet by tomorrow so is probably coming down tomorrow. It feels to me like we are on a break obviously she doesnt have too many problems with me if shes willing to drive down here (1 hour away) and sleep here.

Heres the problem:sometimes i feel that she might call me just to tell me shes having a hard time with school or something, same as when we were together. but i dont want to fall into that zone with her espcially at our status. But its like a coin flip. she still cares for me and vice or versa. But if i say something she might think im a d!ck and just say fvck you thats why were not together and thats why I wont fix things to make it work when im done with school. Weve been broken up before and i just said fvck it and stopped talking to her and she called once she saw me cut her off. But that was before i lived with her and had the dog. I dont know what to do. I know were not "BF GF" righ tnow but still should i just say im not here for that anymore unless youre willing to work things out. And when she talks about the dog shes like yeah "we" should do this and that for the dog and still talks about rotating taking care of it. weird situation. I honestly dont want to end it totally and she even said she didnt herself. Im the guy who looks at its either black or white. Together yea we talk and ill listen to you ***** or were not together so no more tlaking. I try to stop but shell call. deep down i want things to work. One more thing...she might just be scared of knowing that the next step for us is marriage weve talked about it. Im young 23 im scared shes young 25 shes scared Any suggestions.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Usually when a girl does not talk about marriage/buying a house/or even her friends interfering.. those are clear signs that she is "NOT THAT INTO YOU" , I've been there bud, except the living together part. Dude, even after a year couples who are totally together talk about that stuff.

Let her go, salvage whatever you got and learn.

And NO, you don't have good sense for things if it's not true. Drop your ego boy and move on.

She does talk about all that with me and her friends are saying sh!t. Like 2 weeks ago i was like do you want to marry me and she said yes you better propose to me in a cute way. Thats not the reason why this happened its a bunch of other sh!t that is nothing too big. I feel good being bymyself right now no stress over anything. she feels good cause she doesnt have to worry about antyihg except for getting her masters. The question is what happens after she gets her masters degree. I want keep the ball rolling somewhat right now obviously its slow right now.
