"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

So how does a DJ best utilise his FB and still maintain an air of mystery about himself? Do any of you guys "check in" to places or is this giving too much information away about yourself? What about events, do you let others see that you're going to them?

Or is "mystery" overrated? In a world wehere nearly everyone uses this website, is it best used to try to demonstrate high value, making it clear that you are out living your life by posting as many photos of where you've been, statuses, check in's etc?

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

It's an interesting topic. Being in a LTR at the moment means I can do whatever the hell I like, without having to worry about who I'm turning off (obviously apart from her... But I think I've got that), but keep in mind:

Would a high value male spend his time uploading new pictures, carefully naming each album and adding captions?

Would he take 100 self-shots, then photoshop/instagram them to hell to make himself appealing?

Probably not.

If I were single right now, I'd be keeping it simple online. With regards to events, I always click decline even if I know full well I'm going (stops the annoying messages) and I let other people do the checking in if they want.

It's impossible. A vague profile makes you look uninteresting, and too much makes it possible for anyone to find out anything about you. I deleted my account in February, and I love it. Less drama, and now I only have to worry about talking to people that actually matter.

You really want to be mysterious? Don't have a facebook. It's not like it can be used for pick-up anyways. You and %95 of every other guy on FB are doing the exact same thing and treating it like a dating site, which is why that place sucks. The only thing it's good for is spying on people. I think as a PUA/DJ it will only bring you grief, you can't date multiple women and have them all friended on FB, it just doesn't work.

I only use it for Posting jokes, and to stay friendly with people who I dont want to have my number.
It's just a way to play nice to people I dont really give a fvck about.
I have the blocker activated, so I can approve any tags/check-in's that anyone puts up. On the rare occassion that a new girl wants to be my facebook friend, they get restircted access - or I just won't accept the friend request if I don't want to see them again.

How about just not being FB friends with anyone you're dating? That's what I do - I set my profile to where only people who I'm FB friends with can see my stuff.

And here comes the next question I'm sure is in your head right now: "But what if the girl asks you why you haven't added her on FB yet??"

First, it has yet to come up. However, part of the reason for that is because I slyly bring things up like this during the first few dates - I'll makes sure FB gets brought up in conversation, then go into some story about how a friend of mine had a relationship go sour due to FB, so I make it a point not to add people on that I'm dating so I won't have to go through with the same BS. And guess what? It works - the girl agrees with my story, and she never brings it up.

On the off chance that she DID bring it up, though, I'd just tell her that I feel like just because we're in a relationship doesn't mean I need to know every single thing about her and vice-versa, and that neither of us need to be creating misunderstandings with each other as a result of something silly we posted and read on each other's walls.

Bottom line: I control the frame of the FB situation, NOT her, and if she don't like it, she's structured and can kick rocks!

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I don't care about what most people say, I still see Facebook as a relationship killer. At the beginning the girl creeps on it to find out stuff about you, in the middle of the relationship you two share all this cutesy stuff, and at the end you bash one another, all the while entertaining you friends, family and co-workers. If you like drama and living your life like a Mexican soap opera, then this is for you. Otherwise, treat it like any other thing online, and face time is face time.

If they don't wanna hook up with you because your Facebook shyt is vague, then so be it. The only thing you'll be missing out on is a media-social networking-addicted girl

I have a friend who's status posts are nothing but puns, and they're always brilliant, but I notice he never has posts about himself out, doing things. It's cool to have a witty or insightful post on FB every now and then but there's nothing that ups your status like friends taking photos of you at interesting events and tagging you. That, mote than anything else, sends a message that you have an interesting life.
