F***ing answer machines!!!!

I have come upon another challenge to my DJing.

Answer machines. Of all the numbers I got last week every call went to an answer machine. Of those I left messages I got maybe 2/3 calling back and those were between 1 and 2 days later. This makes it difficult to make plans.

I can't just keep calling back and waiting till I get a person, cos I'll wind up leaving like 10 message ID's on some chick's phone.
(not a money vibe at all).

So what to do. Firstly I don't like this message leaving idea cos it means I'm waiting on some chick to call me back. And also losing that 1/3 is a pain , cos at least one of those was a real hottie!

Anyone have any suggestions?

tell her/answering machine you'll try calling later..make plans with the girls u get ahold of, then call the others back when you get time.

I think the answering machine as screener ploy increases the likelyhood of getting the phone number in the first place. This becomes a nonconfrontational way to get rid of you. Women love to defer rejecting you until they are out of range.

If they didn't have answering machines or caller-ID, they probably wouldn't hand out their phone number so easily.

And they also might use it as a second level of queueing. They give out the digits to several guys, and then let them compete for the next upcoming date.

Clearly good first impressions are going to rule in this game. Eventually you are going to have to decide to leave a message or to drop her off the list.

Just leave a casual message...

If she calls proceed to your next objective.

If days, weeks, months, etc..go by without a reply (and if you are still waiting for one) get out of the house and get some sunlight...lol

You're experiencing the natural progression of someone developing their game. Unfortunately, you're also finding out the bad news that just getting a number isn't even half the battle usually. Call once or twice and hope that you can catch her (*67). If you don't, you've got to leave a message. On the message, give them a reason to call you back. If you don't get a return call, she probably wasn't that interested in the first place.
