Eyeglasses tips

i didnt know where to post this, so if a mod is willling to move this to the correct spot i appreciate it.

i need to start using eyeglasses (cant use contact lenses unfortunately). can someone give me some tips of what looks cool and not too nerdy nowadays (specially the frames).

Nerdy is sexy. Cool is whatever you want it to be.
Its your state of mind that governs your worth, sex appeal, vibe and attractiveness in others. Whatever glasses you decide, of course there is an element of what other people will think.
I wear a slick pair of Osiris. My friend loves chucky ones with big bright colours. Just own it, whatever. Get those attendants to help as they know which ones will go with your face/shape. Good luck bro!

thanks don-koong, it's just i find the glasses/braces combo kind of geeky/nerdy you know, oh and my line of work is computers lol. but i've seen some of those you mentioned right now, and there are some cool ones.

i will definitely ask the attendant for something that makes me look younger and confident with them on (i'm 38).

I think the chunky ones look a bit Clarke Kent. My neices love these ones though. I tend to go for the skinny ones since I am 34 and dont want to look like a peedo lol

I'm in this same boat. It sucks, it's hard to look like a real hard ass when you wear glasses. But file it under things I can't do anything about.

The thing about glasses is the same ones that look good on me might not look good on you. They have to match your face. If you have good assistants at the eye place, they will help you find a good pair that looks good on you. I also always take a female along that I can trust to help me decide what looks best. Because without my glasses I can't see, so it doesn't do me much good to try on frames without help.

If you have the money to spend, maybe you can get an extra pair of prescription sunglasses, those might look cooler. They have the kind that change color with the sun, but I don't think those ever really get dark enough to look cool.
