"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I was sitting next to a blonde Lady on the bus

she kept looking out the window or straight so i couldnt catch her eyes

To start a convo with her i had to catch her eyes right?

Do u really have to catch a girls eye b4 starting the convo?

what i did then was i pretended to sneeze in a funny way which made her laugh and we talked

so to start a convo do u have to make eye contact first?
chow :D

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I don't think so, but you do have to make your presence known.

Not in a bad way, though...

welcome to my world
i have the same question as StoneCold, but i want more responses.

the thing is, as i walk on campus, i see a lot of cute hbs sitting alone. let me say that i am a fan of the gwm in the bible, and it recommends approaching stationary women who are alone. in all my life, i don't think i've seen so many cute girls sitting by themselves as i see here. (on a relevant note, just wanted to say that i was recently reading a post on a yahoo message board regarding how california has beautiful women, and the guy said that usually where there are a lot of hbs there are also a lot of homos. not sure if that's true, but around this school i have yet to see any pda, and maybe once a month i see a girl and guy holding hands or something - and it's usually the same ones, lol. in a way, whether it's a bunch of bs or has some validity, i've found this is a good place to be a dj-in-progress)

back to my question, most of these girls i see by themselves i assume are shy. you can sort of tell they are the quiet type anyway. i'm not afraid of approaching, i just don't want to startle them or come across as too agressive. but how do you make ec when you are walking by and they have their heads buried in some hw or some book? i know i have to get ec in some way. sorry McEwan, but you're just plain wrong...i've tried approaching these girls without ec, and it comes across as awkward. i'm relaxed, but i can tell they're tense, like, "you surprised me, where did you come from?" written across their foreheads.

i just don't want to let so many great opportunities slip past me.

i've thought of dropping something around the vicinity, and then as i pick it up try to notice what they're reading...but i want to feel natural/relaxed, and to me that would be fake and staged?

any tips from the pros is much appreciated.

It depends on the response of the eye contact.

what do you mean by that? besides, i wasn't asking about the response of eye contact, i was asking about how to go about creating that eye contact when the girl is busy doing something, and she's shy, and i don't want to startle her.

my post probably got overlooked. i didn't want to start a new thread and be like all the other people who haven't yet discovered the search button. i wasn't responding to StoneCold, i wanted to use the existing thread to ask a question.

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

Eye contact usually means nothing. Stop reading too much into the DJ BS. However, LACK of eye contact is something else.

is everyone here being vague on purpose? what is that supposed to mean? true, eye contact in itself is not supposed to be a magical sign. duh. i wasn't trying to 'read' any signs. i want to initiate eye contact by getting the chick's attention. obviously you didn't read what i wrote. screw it (and screw you posters who don't give clear answers trying to sound like you're all knowledgable when you probably don't know sh|t; man, you're response contradicts itself) i'll go figure it out on my own.

Stop reading too much into the DJ BS.
first of all, it's not bs. second, as i mentioned in my first post on this thread that i favor gwm article in the djb (and if you'd read the djb you'd probably know what gwm stands for). it's actually probably the only article that doesn't promote "tricks" and "techniques" and encourages you to be yourself, be natural, a man. i don't know what inclined you to call it "DJ BS." perhaps you haven't read much of it anyway.
