Eye Contact With HBs

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

as far as im concerned eye contact means nothing. im one of those guy girls like to look at. but when i make a move they get all nervous around me. i just dont bother anymore. i purposly avoid eyecontacts except i feel like hunting.i cant be bothered with the staring game anymore..women seem to love that ****, im past that now.were i school at women do the eyecontact thing all day. and it amounts to nothing.only time iv gotten success from eye contacts was when the girls smile at me, apart from that i dont bother.

Everyone seems to have forgotten what you do right after making eye contact. FVCKING GO TALK TO HER!
^^^Yeah, I really don't understand why, but many people seem to have a hang up when it comes to COMMON SENSE.

I feel robbed that I wasted about 3 minutes reading this thread.

Anyway, the reasons for eye contact are abundant. When it comes to animals (and despite our egos, we are animals) eye contact is a crucial tool for communication. Staring down a gorrila is for example, is a challenge for dominance, either the gorrilla backs down, or attacks.

With all people, eye contact is crucial. Often times a glare will have more effect then a verbal threat. The same is true of a smile and some EC, if she smiles back THAT'S AN IOI, it helps cut through alot of bs.

Good eye contact is a basic hallmark of communication. While giving a speech, one of the best things a good orator will do is make it seem as if he is making direct eye contact with every person in the room.

By avoiding eye contact with a male, whether you want to or not, you are sending the message "i'm the beta, you're the alpha". By avoiding eye contact with a female, you send the message "i'm not interested", and guess what, if you aren't interested, unless you're a freaking male model, chances are they aren't going to be interested either.

Ever see a good politician do a meet and greet at a campaign fundraiser? Go watch, most of the time they will greet a person by reversing the hand shake, person reaches out with the (a rightie) right hand, politician reaches out with the left hand, and shakes the outside of the right hand(not the palm) , while at the same time putting the right hand on either the shoulder, or forearm of the left arm. All this while giving a sincere looking smile, and making eye contact. This way they can pull away at any point.

My point is this, politcians are the ultimate PR artists, they are actors that are onstage 24/7. So how many politicians do you know that avoid eye contact or shift their gaze? A few, but none of them very good, ...remember Nixon?

P.S.-I can't believe they force kids in school to do presentations, and speak in front of the class, but never actually teach the basics. It's like dumping a kid into the ocean and saying swim... they will probably float, but where is the logic.
