"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I broke up with my ex over a month ago and have never heard from her since. We don’t have friends in common.

My ex’s best friend, who I met one time, six months ago, for maybe an hour, and NEVER had a conversation with before; called me on the 4th of July weekend. I found it weird and didn’t pick up. Then she called again on Monday asking me to help her with her workouts (I’m a personal trainer). She said she’s reached a plateau and would like to try some new exercises. I said I could probably help her on Sunday for an hour or so.

I honestly don’t know if this girl wants something else from me or if she is just trying to find out stuff about me to relate it to my ex. My ex has a new guy now (reason she never called again) and don’t think she would be interested in finding out stuff about me.

In anycase, this would have been a great opportunity to hit on her friend and get even…but my ex once mentioned her friend’s got some VD. Won’t even try this option….

I’m not planning to talk about my ex with this girl, nor I will be an open book (NEVER AGAIN)…

If my ex is behind all this and they are both up to something…
What could she actually get from all this??? A friend suggested she no longer has me on her lap and is now trying to see what I’m up to… but I’m not planning to hint her best friend on anything and if she brings the subject I’ll say we came to workout, that’s all.

ANY DIFFERENT VIEWS??

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Get HONEST...

the entire track of your post is about gamesmanship. What do YOU want? What is RIGHT for YOU? Six months out and you are still wondering. Now that's human nature but realize that to worry about the gamesmanship is NOT moving on and doing what's RIGHT for you. In this situation, simply do what's right for you. What's REALLY right and not's what's right in the context of this past relationship.

Indeed.

Stop reading into sh!t and worrying about it. If you want to chase this skank, then do it. But she's got VD, so my guess is you don't want to. In which case, just give her some advice and be friendly.

Well you have decided you aren't having sex with her because of the VD. So just avoid the issue - don't call her back. If she ever gets ahold of you tell her you have enough clients.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Are you sure she has a VD? I'm just saying maybe the ex said that so you wouldn't think of banging her while you two were together. Anyway, help her out if you want to, just don't be a pawn in someone's game...

darth yoda!

You may be right! she may not have a VD after all... In any case, I will play it by ear on Sunday...

The only thing I can do is not to talk about anything else, other than "fitness" with this girl...and make sure I look happy and relaxed.

We'll see what happens!
