We're platonic. I am interested in one of her friends and she is mine. As such we've been helping each other out on both fronts. At a party, the girl I was interested in was not there and so I thought I'd do my best to get her some action with my mate she was interested in. She'd rock up to the party wearing something suggestive and g-stringed too. Her night seemed to be to show off her assets.
Throughout the night obviously I try to get those two chatting but she was struggling - much harder than an AFC talking to a HB10. The ironic thing was she kept hovering around me. Occasionally she came past and laid her head on me or some other gesture. I am chatting to a group of friends and the next thing she has parked herself on my lap and spent it there for the rest of the night as people left me be. I had a few but was not drunk enough so we just spent the night getting cosy. I'd friendzoned her ages ago and this was no exception as I was still interested in her friend. But she totally dented my chances of mingling with any other chick at the party. It was like she was marking her territory. We never made it into the clubs and got separated and ended the night with her parents picking her up. Messages exchanges after, she had a go at me trying to set her up when in the first place she was the one interested in my friend. So the night she was basically telling me how interested she was in this other guy yet her body was throwing itself at me.
It is the day after and now I am confused. She's stopped messaging me when we would normally reply every 30min every day non-stop. I've heard through the grapevine the word too was that everyone thought she was throwing herself at me.
I am not sure how to handle this. I thought we were past this part of everything. Now I am developing feelings for her that were not there. I am almost wondering what would have happened had I had a few more or had we made it into the clubs...
Any DJ's can help me decipher this? Obviously I am not sure which way to go as if either choice goes sour, I basically lose out both ways.
