"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

SO if you guys remember me I am the one who made that thread of "did opposite of NC challagle..

http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=200916

So she hits me up with a huge text...bottom line is she said she sorry.

So should I not write back? Ignore her right?

There is still a piece of my that is tempted to forgive her and let her walk back into my life...but that is my inner little b*tch talking..

or should I say f*ck your sorry..
I just dont want to look like a little b*tch anymore....but she is being the bigger person by actually calling herself out and apologizing...so does that make me look like a little b*tch by ignoring her??? I am confused..
need help from my DJ brothers..

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Reply: "Do I know you?"

And then NC

But let me guess....it didn't work out with this other douche and she wants you to be her consolation prize?

Sir,

I am not a cynical poster here on SS. I always try to look at the bright side, but I also try to be realistic. And after rereading your other thread, I have to say.... Regardless of the advice you get here, I'm pretty sure you're gonna get back in touch with her (probably tonight). I appreciate your honesty regarding your feelings about her, and it is because of that honesty that I drew my conclusion. You seem to want her back more than anything else, and now your main concern is probably how not to mess things up when you're back together.

I don't know what else to say, other than you have not experienced enough pain at this point. Maybe you will have after round two. I am not trying to put you down, and I'm sure she has some great qualities. But the foundation of this relationship was built on the sand, and the result is going to be a shaky balancing act in your future if you take her back.

"It's alright, mate."

It's not beta-like to accept an apology.
It's more manly to swallow your pride and be nice to her again (but not giver her another chance) than it is to be a butthurt little beta about it.

Make your choice, mate.

Just say a simple "thanks for the apology" and nothing more. NC after that.

If she really wants back into your life, make her work for it. Make her chase you hardcore. Anything less and she is just testing for "access". She just wants to know if she still has power in the relationship with you and if you are still accessible to her.

As long as she has that "access" to you, she will feel great. This apology is about HER not you.

Don't be the abused b*tch who gets slapped around and always comes back after an apology to get slapped around again.

Accept the apology and go NC. She should be on her knees sucking your d!ck before you let her back in your life. I'm extremely serious when I say that.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

NOPE. The vast majority of men are too chicken-sh*t to go NC with an Ex anyway. Its usually the woman who goes NC on the guy. Most men don't have the guts.

I say go NC for a full year. If she is on her knees sucking your d!ck after that much time, then talk to her. Hahahaha.

NC means NC. I had a similar situation last year but it was a half-baked apology (sorry you got hurt, not, sorry I hurt you).
I too thought the mature and manly thing to do would be to graciously accept the apology and contact her.
But the advice I got on here from Danger and a few others was to go ghost and not reply.
I took that advice and it's the best thing I could've done.

↑I agree with this! ↑

Or, if not, just don't reply, no matter how much she grovels for your attention. I've been in a similar situation, and fųck all that 'let's be friends' bųllṣhit.

Something happened with the new guy and she is looking to fall back on you. Now is your chance to show backbone and that you are just fine with the decision SHE made that she wants out of the relationship. Her wish was granted, now she can go be a free bird, and so can you.

When you do see that other friend both you and her share, don't be fooled, she is siding more with her female sister than with you, so make sure you tell her you are happy, going on dates, and do not show you are affected. This will destroy your ex's ego.

Living well is the best revenge.

Good luck.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

You're a DB. I have not hit her back up and dont plan to.

I been reading on these forums as well as the DJ bible and can tell I am part of a cycle that has been repeated many times in the past and if I act on how I feel, I will never move on and keep having to restart the process over and over again which will lead to a very dark and depressing road(and a lengthy one as well). To skip all that I am choosing to not hit her back up

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
