"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

dude, that's a possibility but if this girl was a baker, her special dish would be nutcake. If she kept time, she'd be called a cuckoo clock. If I had to put money down on it, I'd guess that she's foaming at the mouth and deserves the classic "avoid like plague" treatment.

Hopefully you never have to meet one of these monsters. True, men can be monsters. I'm aware of that and someone else who is also very aware of that seem to have a consensus that this girl is bad news.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

She was looking for chances to get under my skin, to ruin my chances with any woman and has tried to destroy my friendships, but I've ignored and avoided her and got on with my life, meeting another woman in the process.

All was going great, my life was better until today when she sent me a threatening email, which begins with her telling me how much she hates me, followed by some personal insults and ending with a threat: "God help you if I see you again!"

Avoiding her means that I'm avoiding a lot of mutual friends and avoiding certain uni classes. I figured I'd let things settle and then stop avoiding her, but this last email scares me. I really don't know what she is capable of, but this is a girl with nothing to lose, past violent incidents against her ex-boyfriend and a lot of pent up hatred.

I don't know where to start in dealing with this. I'm worried for my friends, the girl I'm dating and even for my own safety. I just want her out of my life, but doing that means giving up uni and friends.
Kill her!!!!

Do it Puerto Rican style and use a machete!!! Yeah, I know what you are thinking, "Wouldn't that be messy? Iit gets a little messy but you'll let some steam out and you will feel better!!!

Very good point. We can all learn from this. It feels unhuman to be concrete and objective when we judge another, but sometimes being concrete and objective can save us a lot of pain and frustration.

What did you do to her that she hates you so much? maybe you should stop acting like such a p**** and be a man. Real men don't go running from anybody and specially a woman!

man, do not underestimate the power that women have over men in this society. A woman can have you beaten up or arrested or socially ostracized or ridiculed, or whatever in the blink of an eye. If they are physically violent, they can also put you in the hospital. The nuttier they are, the less likely it is that they will back down.

The smartest person I met today was a guy who backed down from a fight on the street. He was being shoved by three hoodlums and even though he had some muscles and knew to turn into a side stance, he was smart to shuffle out of the way and yell over to someone to call the cops.

Running away is smart. Timmy Tuffnuts gets the girls in high school, but in the real world, he gets messed up, arrested, etc.

Maybe this is the reason she is messing with you, she knows you're soft and just wants to mess with you.

psycho b1tches can smell fear from a mile away. They usually don't mess with men that don't take their crap.

I have to disagree. I am the type of person who does not put up with crap. I don't pretend to be a tough guy but when push comes to shove, I can be a hardazz, and I have a temper. I am also good (too good) at cutting people off, so aside from drunken idiots at bars and clubs, people usually don't mess with me. This psycho girl was gonna take me out! This person knew me very well. I thought I knew her well. They smell fear but they also smell dysfunction. Similarities attract. If I had my head about me, I would not have invited a psycho back into my life. The kicker is this person was never a girlfriend. She used to introduce me to other girls. If I had my head about me and wasn't in a personal slump, I would have kept my distance because I had a gut feeling and would have respected it.

In her mind I have done something very severe to piss her off, but she doesn't really know what it is. Her life is a wreck and I think she just wants the satisfaction of dragging me down with her. She keeps bringing up the fact that she dumped me, telling me that I'm worthless and pathetic, and generally trying to crush my self-esteem.

At one point I was quite cut up about being rejected and she was quite content at that, but now I've moved on and things are going well for me, she's determined to ruin it for me.

She hasn't tried to back over me with a car yet, but it does worry me that she might do some day.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Well i'd save the email from Glenn Close if I were you and show it to the cops IMMEDIATELY.....sounds like this chick was a close friend of yours cus she knows everyone you hang out with.

I empathize with you man cus since I found this site i found that breaking up with chicks is NOT EASY. Which is weird cus i always assumed it would be an easygoing, confident, powerful thing to do if i ever got the chance. Even when i tell chicks in the nicest possible form that I'm not intersted they get real offended.....

One girl who liked me in one of my classes threw my research paper under a chair as we were passing them up to hand in just because i told her a few days prior that 'I want you as a friend'.....i went off the deep when she did that getting up and yelling, "What the **** is wrong with you!" in front of the whole lecture hall, students, teacher and all. It was so ****ing devious cus messing with my grades is like messing with my children (not yet existant fyi). She just looked at the desk not saying anything and i sat back in my chair as everyone stood dead silent.......good times baby, fonz handles his business;)

Jariel.....by your own admission you're a little unstable yourself,right?

Like attracts like matey,ya know?

From another thread.....
I agree 100% and everything you have said here is something I'm FINALLY beginning to discover for myself. Popularity, wealth and women mean nothing if you cannot be independently contented with yourself.
That's more like it:p

Call the cops IMMEDIATELY. Print the email out and hand it over to them so that they HAVE IT ON RECORD. This way, if this ever gets out of hand, you'll have CONCRETE HISTORICAL PROOF OF HER GUILT. Nothing beats that when it comes to dealing with these things.

Wow, I got some answers tonight and they're not what I expected!

I ran into one of her friends tonight and she told me everything. Basically my ex- thinks I'm an arrogant bastard and thinks I ran her down and undermined her when we were together. Unbeknown to me some of her friends hinted that I was too good for her and a lot of women in my classes started getting b1tchy towards her (which i knew about). What has frustrated her even more is that everybody she moans about me to seems to adore me and side with me. She can't find any allies against me.

I'm not arrogant, but do you know why she thinks so? Because I overdid the ****y + funny performance. I always used to "joke" about how women love me and how popular I am, which is not something she wanted to hear because she has so few friends and is insecure.

Her friend let me know that my ex- is extremely frustrated because she wants to bring me down to earth, but can't faze me. She hates that I've met someone else and that I'm getitng on with my life with other friends.

This is no excuse for her threatening me and I'll continue to avoid her, but it makes sense.

Let this be a warning to anyone trying to be c+f or trying to seem like an arrogant bad boy.

In other words, you had the upper hand in the relationship and hors are vindictive when they can't "get over" on men!!!!

She is envious of your power over women (her) and she is treacherous!!

Keep the machete at an arm's length just in case she gets bold!!

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
