Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Last post on this thread for a while because it's time for me to move on and just forget about her. I'm very upset but thankful right now. Just wanted to speak my mind about this.

While shes living with her new bf now, I was here waiting for a email or a text or any sign. Now I'm thankful she didn't because it would of only delayed my progress.

We've been in no contact since the breakup but man I feel more liberated now more than ever.

I've been waiting for this day this entire summer. For almost 3 and a half months. This was the milestone that I set for myself in my head. "Will she send me a text regardless of the rebound" "Does she really care or does she not"

Guess it was all a lie and she doesn't really care. My whole perception of her changed. I don't even know who she is anymore. I can't believe I did the things I did for her.

Man these last few months have been hell for me but I'm thankful for the lesson.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

What would you have done if she did send you a Happy Birthday?

That's probably why she didn't. Just sayin.

Upset you didn't get a birthday text from an ex? Since when did MEN become such sissy fagg0ts?

Newsflash: The minute your ex left, you were as good as dead. Right now, she is getting railroaded by another guy, loving it, and has zero thoughts about you.

Are you getting angry? Good! Now, what are your going to do this with this newfound sage wisdom?

Swallow that bitter Red Pill..... You will be a better man once you do.....

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

This is extremely sad to read. Your entire summer lead up to a god damn text message

If you had other options and other things going on in your life you wouldn't even care. But no, instead you choose to cling to the idea of getting back with your ex and wallow in your own self pity

In 3.5 months you could have gotten completely ripped at the gym, learned a new language, started a new business, and still had spare time to meet and fvck at least 4 other women.

You chose to wait for a text! Life is about choices............you made a bad choice here.

Why keep looking backward instead of moving forward?

Why choose pain and regret over freedom?

Do you dislike yourself that much?

Keeping your life on hold for two words doesn't make sense dose it??

You deserve more than this little brother.

What were you expecting?

The message: move on

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
