“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Hey guys:

Sooooo... rarely do I come on here to address criticisms of me and/or my advice. Personally, if someone doesn't agree with the ideas or advice I'm giving to guys on how to Stop Losing Women, to me it's whatever - everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and if someone feels that something I'm saying is bad advice (i.e. me saying "Texting KILLS Relationships" vs. everyone else saying it's a great form of communication), they have every right to feel that way.

With that said, there IS one line of criticism that I do not like, and it's one that one of the posters on this board brought up in a different post (which you can read here: http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=217313)

In short: someone had posted up a survey about who had been successful at online dating, and one of the SoSuave members said that people should check out my website/podcasts/SoSuave post because I was really good at it and am writing a book on it (coming out in August - stay tuned!). I saw that and thought it was a very nice mention. A few scrolls down, and I saw another member state that he had used the advice in my various forms to get a few lays off of OKCupid and POF. Again, I felt great that advice I had given had helped to improve someone else's game, to the point of getting them laid.

But THEN...

The comment after that said the following:

"lol take what harry wilmington says with a grain of salt, most of what he says is wrong and he makes stuff up."

I couldn't help but almost laugh at this comment, mostly because the commenter in question is making a judgement call about me based on... well, I don't exactly know. I don't know how he's reading my various posts or listening to my shows and determining that the things I'm talking about are made up. However, what I don't want is for other people to read that and assume this individual must be correct, despite his lack of evidence.

Here's the reality of the situation: giving advice to you guys is, for me, no joking matter. I grew up during my formative dating years without a father (early death, R.I.P.) and spent YEARS - almost 2 decades - to get to a point where I got good with women. I mean, REALLY good. I mean, good to the point where I could literally go to house parties at my friends' apartments, meet a girl, and be screwing her brains out before the night was over. I'm talking good to the point where I could go on 5 dates in one week as a result of my online dating skills. I'm talking good to the point where I could bang 3 or 4 chicks all in one week within less than a day of each other.

Now, I don't say the above to brag, but these are the things that have actually happened in my life. And I give out these various stories while giving out my advice as illustrations/proof that the advice I'm giving has actual RESULTS to it.

Therefore, it baffles me when someone else can come on here, read the stories I'm telling and say "eh, he's just making it up."

If you're someone who has yet to have the success with women that I've had, then it's not hard to see why one would think I'm making these things up. However, those of you on here who ARE good with women know that all the stories I'm telling are very, VERY possible - but only if you're confident enough in yourself to make them happen. As for me, I have a website that's growing in numbers, a podcast that's growing in listeners, and eBooks/seminars/etc. that I'm selling. As a result, my credibility is always on the line, and the last thing I need to do is come on here, lie about my dating life, get exposed and lose all the goodwill I've built up over the last few years on here.

In short: if any of you every have a disagreement about the things I'm saying, or the advice I'm giving, I'm always open to discussing it, even if we never end up agreeing. BUT, please know that regardless of disagreeing viewpoints, I'm always speaking about things based upon my ACTUAL experience of situations and/or other events that have REALLY happened to me in my dating life. If you think I'm lying, all I can say is I feel sorry for you that you're not good enough with women to realize that my truth could be yours if you weren't so damn cynical.

Cool story bro. But you've now got a thread saying everything you say is made up with your name under it for anyone casually glancing. Just saying.

Don't know why the sudden shift against you Harry. I don't post field reports, because I don't really needy help, but I know the stuff that you preach is pretty much true. Most of it is similar to the stuff you learn around SS as well, which is a good sign. Especially the "texting to only set up dates." You know what's up Harry, if people don't even consider your advice then it's really their loss.

You know the old saying, "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen."

If you're going to give advice in a forum, you should expect people to disagree with you from time to time. You should also expect other people just to write a bunch of bvllsh1t when you post.

This has happened to me a few times when posters out of the blue felt the need to call me names and say stupid sh1t. I told them off and that shut them up when they couldn't answer me back. My advice was 100% correct and they didn't have an answer for it. Peaks and Valleys cowardly left the forum after he couldn't answer me.

All you're doing is being an AW acting like an AFC with this attention thread. A real DJ wouldn't give a sh1t and would keep giving out the advice he knows is right. He wouldn't make a thread trying to defend himself looking for support from the members.

To be fair, I've seen you give some really bad advice to people regarding relationships to where I and a lot of people have disagreed with you before. You were totally wrong on a number of threads, but you do make some good points taking your time to help people out. That is a good service you are doing.

All I'm saying is if you feel your advice is as good as you say it is, there would be no need to make an AW thread like this. Get over it, people are always going to say sh1t to you when you put yourself out there. If you can't take criticism with members in a discussion forum, how are you going to deal with women who test you in your life?

I agree with golden.

Bro congrats on all the sleeping so many beautiful women within minutes of meeting them, but when one comment from an unknown internet user rattles you to the core, it doesn't really add up. A guy sleeping with so many beautiful girls is all to be alpha, sexy, confident, mature, in charge, a leader. Don't you think your credibility has taken a hit getting so riled up?

Now that people find out that it bothers you, they are going to come at you fast and furious and hit you hard, be it because of jealously, anger, boredom, whatever. Because you gave one statement value and made it important, they have achieved their goal. The best thing would have been to brush it off and move on.

I can only speak for myself but to my detriment, I literally find most criticism laughable and ignore it. As a few other guys have pointed out, I've never understood how guys can claim to be good with women yet get so cut up about something that some guy has said online, it's all noise and again laughable. It reminds me of how guys claim to be good with women yet always manage to get into arguments and never successfully defuse situations online. There's a general way that you talk to people and there's a general way you accept criticism.

But Harry, you give good advice, drop the ego and just take the fact that someone doesn't like you. Having seen and listened to your stuff, I'd say that's a weak point of yours is that you're trying too hard to be liked. You come off as a little conservative as to not offend anyone and that can easily be misconstrued as being disingenuous. And also the fact that this thread exists in the first place is also a bit of a question mark, if you wanted to address something, couldn't it have been done over a private message? But since the thread is here and you're making a point of it, I just think it screams "ego".

IMO you drew more attention to yourself writing this thread than the original comment. Probably most people didn't even notice what was said of you until you wrote this now they might be thinking the people are right about you. Sounds like your a sensitive guy who seeks the validation and praise from others and when you don't get that praise you get offended and have to qualify yourself that you are worthy of that praise it's evident in this thread. If you're a big hit with the ladies what other people say about you shouldn't even matter to you. The fact you take offense calls everything into question with the readers here. Keep up with the posting and don't take everything so seriously when it is not.

I haven't always agreed with Harry but he's also proven to be spot on with his insights.
Keep up the good work!

Harry, your shizz is pretty good. I listen to your podcasts once in a while and I like them.

I was glad when you came around because for 2 years prior I was preaching that texting kills relationships (more accurately, the wrong kind of texting that almost all men are prone to do).

I think your making an entire thread about a bad comment or two is a faux-pas. I get it... you were caught off-guard and it just hit you the wrong way. This is a tough neighborhood and even Atom the Magnificent has his detractors.

Your insights and podcasts are appreciated by most around here, and that's saying a lot, so ignore your detractors. Guys who don't get it aren't worth your time to worry about. They will never, ever go away. I pretty much handle insulting posts by either ignoring them (this speaks volumes) or in a very detached way providing additional information so that the other readers will see my counterpoint to what usually proves to be a dumb post by an underdeveloped or shallow-thinking guy.

Get back in there, soldier. You're a valued member.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

That Wasn't a Disagree Dude

That wasn't a disagreement. An example of the a disagreement is the pros and cons of texting. What dude was, (based on his on f*cked up experiences,) was call into question Harry's integrity, honor, and the veracity of his experiences without any reason to do so. I would have personally took issue with that to.

So Harry was suppose to ignore somebody that called him a liar without cause or proof?

There's a difference between criticism and people making baseless attack upon you and your person.

i'm not sure why you're addressing this now in a separate thread when this was said last week. others have said the same about you in this forum and around the net in other places, it's nothing new. why aren't you addressing their comments too?

it was said that you make stuff up, you said you make "everything up", i guess there is truth to that otherwise you wouldn't have gotten so upset to write a thread. i'm sure you know what people are talking about when they say you make stuff up. i didn't think you would be so upset, i thought you would be used to hearing it.

To be fair, these sort of comments are part and parcel of being a dating coach etc. Once you go commercial and start selling products you're putting yourself under the spotlight because you're asking guys to fork out their cash on your ideas and thoughts. It's one of the only industries where your reputation can't be anything but personal. If someone's saying your products crap, they're basically saying you don't get laid and you're a charlatan. It's hard to separate it from your personal life because for most people, especially if you're in this industry because it's so important to guys. It's one of those things that just has to be ignored, it's like when a girl throws out a comment, you wouldn't react in this way. Imagine the kind of comments that bigger guys in the industry get just look at the way that people rip into Tyler and the kind. Once you get into this, you're leaving yourself open to flack and if you plan on being more successful it's only going to get worse.
