Ever not get a 2nd date after a brilliant first date?

I met this HB8 at a club, called her 3 days later, secured a date. Met her at a nice bar for the date and then we went to the same club we met at. Danced for like 2 hours total and made out quite a bit on the dancefloor. I dropped her off at her car and we made out more. I had class the following morning so I ended the kissing by saying I had to go.

I called her a couple days later and left her a voicemail. my voicemail was very short and i didn't even leave my name. i basically just told her to call me back. she never called back.

i'm just wondering if any of you have had amazing dates and never got a call back from the girl?

Happens to me all of the time.
There's all sorts of reasons -
Maybe she just wanted to have one fun night.
Maybe an old flame called her back
Maybe it was a "revenge" date - getting back at a bf for
cheating
Maybe she had second thoughts

I'm glad you at least got to make out with her.

I suspect I've missed out on a lot of second dates because
I didn't make a move on a first date.

update: saw her out at the same club last night with another guy. i just smiled and continued making out with the hottie i hooked up with

Hey bro, just some advice for future pick-ups.

NEVER, EVER leave a girl a voicemail and expect her to call back. Even if a girl is interested, most of the time she won't call back. It's better to assume that she won't. (Don't ask me why...girl logic).

Instead, if she's not there, simply hang up (hopefully you had your number blocked or called from somewhere else).

Call 2 times doing this. If she does'nt pick up, the third time you unblock your number and leave her the half message.

"Hey [girls name] it's Cgraz. I'm a little dissapointed I haven't been able to get a hold of you, but I just wanted to tell you that [click]"

Hang Up! Make sure your finger was on the button so there's no rustling and it sounds like you actually got cut out. That'll spark her curiosity enough to call you back. And if she doesn't, move on!

But I never leave girls voicemails unless it's that one, or if we've gone out atleast 5+ times.
