All I can say is the first time I got "cheated" on, was the only time in my whole life I've been loyal... I had became such a beta that now I don't blame her for it but how it happened is quite disgusting.
Basically, I had been deployed twice in a row in Kandahar, Afgh. During my 2nd tour, my unit clerk started hitting one me via email. I came back, started banging couple girls here and there, including her and she knew. Eventually, I guess I lost some of the other girls and I didn't bother to get other plates (I auto betad myself). Then, we both applied for the next tour but I got denied but they sent her. Worst. Fckin. Nightmare. After a horrible 8 months, here I am, at the airport, so glad to finally see her so I go in for a hug n kiss but she pushes me, in front of our unit. At that point I didn't understand why... she was quiet in the car. Chaos followed, I was destroyed by oneitis and most specially so fckin pissed I waited 8 months no sex like a fckin beta for no reason.
I have never been exclusive to a women ever since and am a much happier man now that I understand what went wrong altho it didn't happy right away. Now have been in a OLTR for 3 yrs... so far so good but I never expect relationships to last all that long. And I am still figuring out some stuff hehe.
Thing is, now I can't really get cheated on since I simply don't care who they bang on the side and what happens.. I am too busy with my own life and the way I see it, is I can't control that sh1t so if she wants to be with another dude, so be it.
Commitment for me is quite different, obviously
