I have once a few weeks back. Was on my break at work, and it was a hot day so I decided to go sit outside on a bench. There were lots of people walking by, and I saw 2 girls stop and stand across from me, about 20m away. I looked up and 1 of them was walking in my direction, but I didn't know she was coming to talk to me, so I looked down again. She came up and asked for my number for her friend. This girl who asked me was UG and about 17, and I didn't even know who I was giving my number to, as her friend was stood hiding around the corner, so I said I had no phone, even though I had it in my hand LOL, she must have not seen it. She went red in the face and started asking why I havn't got a phone. Then she walked off, but kept walking past for a while after, looking at me, with the girl who wanted my number hiding behind her.

Have any of you ever been approached on the street?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Once a HB started talking to me on the train - I thought I was a player after that! That's about it really - I've had smiles and general chit-chat bit it wasn't anything serious.

17 my ar$e!!

Haha, i'd bet any money the two 'women' you mentioned in the first post weren't 17.
Hanging round in parks and getting their friends to go up to boys they like and go 'my friend likes you', thats what 12 and 13 year olds do. Still, if there's grass on the wicket...... :D

Yeh, I've been approached by girls of that sort of age before. But I think any girls who are old enough to consider are a bit past doing that sort of thing.
I've also had women come on to me while working for a nightclub distributing flyers in the street. But thats a bit different too, its 11pm, the bird are all pissed up making their way from bar to club.
I can't think of any time when i've been approached by women under normal circumstances on the street.
That's why we have to do the job ourselves.

no women, but i have had men when i was in america and canada

last summer though, was down south in turnbridge wells, my mate who is my age but looks about 10 years older and just has soem weird kinda aura he gives of, got approached by some middle aged woman in the supermarket asking if he would like to do some 'gardening' haha.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

The closest thing to a street approach I've had was when I was walking out the mall towards the parking structure in a hurry one day, since I had a date later on and I was running late. I hear a "hey", at first I ignored it and then I heard another "hey" and I turn around and I see a female staring right at me. She walks towards me and we start chatting and we exchanged numbers. Unfortunately I ended up f*cking everything up as this was 7 years ago.
