ever approach an EXTREMELY strange girl?

yesterday i was out sarging and just enjoying my new found social confidence when i noticed this okay looking girl (i wouldn't date her, she was like a 6), and i noticed her looking at me i figured what the hell ill go talk to her and maybe get a number for ****s and giggles

.... she was sitting on a bench and to make sure she was actually look at me i looked at her reflection in the glass door and yup checking me out

Well this was the biggest f-ucking mistake of an approach I've made yet. The girl was a ****ing whacko.

First off she was really apprehensive, i could tell she was shy and as somebody recovering from social anxiety disorder I can totally relate and was being rather sensitive to her shyness.

-she wouldn't tell me her name
-she wouldn't agree to be 'friends' with me
-she wouldn't tell me anything about herself really, except that she skipped a lot during highschool to go and get high.
-she wouldn't shake my hand when i introduced myself
-she refused to give me her number even though i assured her i wouldn't call it, i even told her to just give me a fake number for fun ... nope wouldn't play along
-she mentioned that she hates all people, and has no friends on purpose and does not trust anybody

wooahhh lets just say i backed out of there and went to find a more friendly girl

anybody ever have these type of approaches? it was really f-ucking weird haha (especially after shes the one that was checking me out not the other way around)

Yeah, had these. Usually either really rich snobby girls or girls with serious mental problems do these kinda things.

I have never had anyone that bad, I've just had women act really standoffish and give quick responses that were designed to end the converstaion.

My personal rule of thumb is never approach really really attractive women (most have psychological problems) or really goth women (most have psychological problems). So luckily I avoid this fate a good deal of the time.

I'm the kind of person who can tell to a degree just by someone's face if they have a bad personality though. The eyes and facial expressions give it away.
