"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

The most important lesson learned is that you ALWAYS limit the amount of attention you give to a girl. It's important that she earn any extra attention that you provide for her. This will increase the value of YOUR attention in HER mind. Increasing your own value relative to other men in her life is the PRIMARY goal of sexual interaction. And by sexual I don't mean intercourse, I mean interaction between a man and a woman.

Now looking back at my AFC days (I'm still AFC, just don't EVER show it ;D haha), I realized that I was inherently good at controlling attention. I would give attention, then back off, become alpha, then give more attention, back off, etc. ALMOST everything I did in my AFC days was perfect! Where I folded my hand was coming out and TELLING her "I like you," instead of showing it to her as I was attempting to do it.

NEVER tell her how you feel. SHOW your feelings if SHE has earned them. Occasionally NC is part of the game and it works to build attraction: "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." This is absolutely one of humanity's universal truths - LIVE BY IT!

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Ha good points.

Before I read this site I thought I was mostly an AFC. Now that I thought about it, I can count 7 times where a chick was totally into me but I was indifferent - causing her to be more interested!

One chick once said "it's a shame you have a girlfriend because I would be all over you" and the old me was all "aw shucks I have a gf". I hate that guy.

I think it's because when I was in high school / undergrad I had no confidence and didn't think I was good looking. Now that a lot of chicks have shown interest I see myself as better looking than most people (even if its blowing myself up).

I've done the exact same shlt! When I was in school, I would be aloof, not have a care in the world, rarely give girls any attention, and they were all over me and I never initiated a damn thing! And then, when I decided I wanted to a few years down the road I continually fawked it up, being "nice", sensitive, and all prim and proper like we were all told by media and our parents growing up.

Natural game is where its at, I just have to find it again.
