"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Okay... so, I don't really have a point here, but maybe this will kick off an interesting discussion.

I'm amazed at how nice and pleasant it is to date in Norway. I go out to a bar, I smile at a girl, she smiles back, we chat, and maybe I get her number.

If a girl is attracted to me she seems to smile back without hesitation. I don't see any of the same games that I found in America.

I don't want to put the blame on the women here, but it seems that American women always are on the defensive in a social situation, and you, as a guy, always have to overcome that hurdle. Only rarely have I had American woman who openly, and blatantly, smile back at me in a bar. But it happens all the time here in Europe.

If nothing else, I think American women are much, much, more subtle. In America, you hear quotes all the time like: "He's clueless", "He just didn't get the hint at all." I don't believe that really exists in Europe, or at least not to the same extent.

Why _hint_? If you like someone, why not make it clear? If you don't like someone, why not make that clear?

I know that I'm generalizing, but thoughts?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Why not put the blame squarely where it rests - on American women? Our feminist Matriarx has installed a female superiority complex and underlying hostility against the male gender that distorts every interaction. Outside the Matriarx, gender relations are far more natural and normalized - where men are men, women are women and everybody's happy about it. As soon as you step outside our borders you will notice this. It's impossible not to.

I strongly disagree. If you want to make generalisations, then make them about Norwegian women within that specific district of Norway.

I have been to Europe (although I was always with my parents, which could potential disqualify this whole analysis) in these areas: Italy and Switzerland.

I can tell you that in terms of cold approaching by giving a weak smile, or even saying 'ciao' to them, they look the other way. I dont know about bars or those other places, but in a busy public setting such as a market place or mall, I see no difference between European girls and American girls.

I think most of these girls are either married, since they all appear to marry someone at yonge ages, usually someone they meet from highschool, elementary school or from their surrounding community and are just as difficult to approach if not more so to North American girls.
