I met a HB 7.5 at a program in Washington but I never got a chance to really talk to her (in part, due to me running out of balls and not approaching her because she was with a friend). I believe she was interested in me, chiefly because she once flashed a huge smile at me (which is supposed to be a telltale sign of a high IL) when I chivalrously stopped in an aisle to allow her to pass (perhaps that was AFC) and because she went out of her way to introduce herself to me.
There are two ways I can contact her. My question is, which would be more effective? The first is via "The Facebook". I could send her a message through that. The second way is by asking a friend of a friend to contact her and ask her to give her phone number to me.
The advantage of the phone method is that if she is not interested she simply will not respond and I won't waste any time. However, conversing on the phone is more difficult than via e-mail or instant messaging, which provides the advantage of allowing you to think about your response for a few minutes if necessary. Also, she will likely expect me to call her at regular intervals.
I will not see her for a while. She lives too far away right now. She lives 10 miles outside Washington, D.C. while I am in college in the NYC area. I will be in Washington from 4/15-4/20 and may see her then. The primary reason I am interested in establishing contact with her is because I likely will go to law school, starting next year, in Washington or Philadelphia. Washington is obviously right next door and Philadelphia is within reasonable driving distance. If I go there, she could be a girlfriend I could have right off the bat. She is a quality young woman and I would forever regret allowing her to slip away without giving it a shot.
