What's everyone's take on guys who go to strip clubs and escorts? You think these strippers and escorts, and women in general think these guys are desperate and pathetic, and can't get laid? Cause i often think that's what they might think, but i want your imput.

No... unless you come off as being desperate and pathetic. They're just like girls outside of the club, other than the fact that they are taking off their clothes for money. If they're attracted to you, it doesn't matter how much or little you spend. I've been friends with more than a handful of dancers, some for multiple years now, and have seen just about everything in that business... in part because I also was a dancer (of the male variety).

I've had one tell me about an old guy who's currently coming in once a week, every week bringing her ~$500 a visit who she doesn't plan on sexing, and in the next breath asking me to introduce her to my friend so she can have a romp in the hay with him... and he didn't do anything other than come in with me and buy a drink (for himself).

Moral is, they don't care who you are, or what you look like. They're after your money and that alone. If you look good, or are extraordinarily smooth, then it's not uncommon to sleep with one within a few days to a week - because of their job, most of them have a very relaxed outlook on sex. I thought that I've slept with a lot of people, but when I watch one or two of my friends go it seems I'm a virgin by comparison. I wouldn't recommend them for long term relationships... hope this helps.

my take is that if you have to pay a women to sleep with you.. that you are desperate and pathetic and that you cant get laided for free or else you'd be doing that instead of dishing out money for the lovin..

I used to think this way, too. However, since I began working and talking with some older men (30-something year-old guys) with wives and kids, I've come to the conclusion that going to an escort is much wiser for the older, cheatin' man than, say, having an office affair. There is no commitment, no drama, and there is minimal threat of running away and abandoning your wife for the woman you're paying for.
A quality escort won't pressure you to leave your significant other, nor will she threaten to spill the beans about your affair. Also, in the long run, it may even end up being cheaper.

Bear in mind my quote was written about dancers. There's a huge difference between an escort and a dancer. While there might be some trashy exceptions, most dancers as a rule aren't going to sleep with you for money. Just because they might be stripping doesn't mean they're *****s... An escort knows just what she's getting herself into, and what's expected. As for what an escort thinks, I haven't the foggiest... I'd imagine that as long as your money is green they don't really care one way or the other. Now ask yourself the following question: Why do you care what they think about you?

Well most of these strippers here in FL do have a price. A steep one but they're all hooking probably. Most guys I know seem to think it's ok to go to a strip-club and pay for sex with a stripper but it's not prostitution.

Personally you couldn't pay ME to even be seen standing next to a hooker. I do hit up strip-clubs on a bad day but not like some of these guys down here.

It's basically prostitution too. You're giving b!cthes money to see them dance nakid...That is hooking too..lol.

i think prostitution gets a bad rap in this day and age.

i actually think of them as valuable service providers ... (in theory...never had the guts or the necessary antibiotics to actually go for it myself... yet....).

if a psychologist ends up being a LOT like a PROFESSIONAL FRIEND for people who are in some cases so severely dysfunctional as to not have ANY themselves-

why not a PROFESSIONAL LOVER for those who are so severely dysfunctional as to be unable to acquire one of their own devices?

besides, while most men and women can be rehabilitated with the proper skills to live fulfilling, sexual lives, there are the 5% or so of the population who are indeed so wildly unattractive that there is no possibility for such an outcome.

what of them? surely, they must be punished for their disfigured ways!

personally, i think philosophies that preach against prostitution sorely neglects the weakest and most feeble among them.

monogamy is good and fine for johnny quarterback and suzy cheerleader. but there are many in the world whose fate is to suffer alone for one reason or another-

without professional help.

i think also that the significance of prostitution as a rite of passage throughout history has not been given enough note:

- ancient greece
- most major wars
- modern day netherlands (god bless the dutch!)

i can't help but think that men in the more prudish cultures may be missing something that perhaps may not be essential but maybe salubrious or ... comforting.

i still can't quite shake the feeling that perhaps prostitution is the most HONEST interaction between a man and a woman.

we go through a lot of HOCUS POCUS to view the man/woman thing as being other than a simple exchange of GOODS AND SERVICES....

but isn't it?

and perhaps humans have become accustomed to being uncomfortable with prostitution because it simplifies us to automatic beings and that's just not comfortable for us to contemplate.

i wouldnt advise that mate, behind every window is a pimp just waiting to fcuk some tourist up! my mate got punched by one, but he is another story.

Also, the main street, there are soem absolute stunners, its 50 euros for a suck and fcuk, but apparantly that doesn't lost to long.

If your gonna be fcuking them, the red light district is fun, if you don't it gets old after a while, if you wanna pull without paying, i would find some club well away from the red light district.

also, watch out for the blue lights! because they are not what your expecting so i'm told.

Oddly enough for all its noteriety the RLD in Amsterdam is one of the worst paid sex venues in the world, second worst only to Nevada's madly overpriced brothels.

If you want great paid sex then you must look at places like Brazil Argentina or Thailand. I guess Germany is supposed to be better than NL but I am not sure the pain of getting out to the FKKs is worth it. If you've already commited to Amsterdam then enjoy the weed and consider a day trip to an FKK.
