Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Enjoy that uniqueness. You do not have to pretend in order to seem more
like someone else. You weren't meant to be like someone else. You do not
have to lie to conceal the parts of you that are not like what you see in
anyone else.

You were meant to be different. Nowhere ever in all of history will the
same things be going on in anyone's mind, soul and spirit as are going on in
yours right now.

If you did not exist, there would be a hole in creation, a gap in istory,
something missing from the plan for humankind. Treasure your uniqueness.
It is a gift given only to you. Enjoy it and share it!

No one can reach out to others in the same way that you can. No one can
speak your words. No one can convey your meanings. No one can comfort with
your kind of comfort. No one can bring your kind of understanding to
another person.

No one can be cheerful and lighthearted and joyous in your way. No one can
smile your smile. No one else can bring the whole unique impact of you to
another human being.

Share your uniqueness. Let it be free to flow out among your family and
friends and people you meet in the rush and clutter of living wherever you
are. That gift of yourself was given you to enjoy and share. Give yourself
away!

See it! Receive it! Let it tickle you! Let it form you and nudge you
and inspire you!

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Sure, your post sounds like some New-Age wishy-washy bullsh!t, but upon re-reading it I can see that you make a valid point.

No two people are alike; likewise, no two DJ's will mack in the same way. There are as many individual "styles" out there as there are personalities, and what works for me may not work for you (and vice-versa).

By trying to copy someone else's techniques a guy may find himself frustrated. Everyone's got an "angle" he can use to his advantage; the trick is to find your "weapon of choice" and learn to wield it effectively.

Some of that may sound corny, but it really isn't. I discovered this truth a long time ago - the hard way

my advice, dont become a don juan....

be yourself, your the only one like you.use techniques like the ones on this site to improve you, not to become a "dj"

If you're trying to improve yourself then there must be some aspect of yourself you're not entirely happy with. Hence the advice "Just be Yourself" is a little hypocritical?

I like the way this post talks of uniqueness, you need to harness your unique qualities and get rid of all the stupid ones that are doing you no favours at all and are only there as a bi-product of media, peer and parental propaganda.

However I do agree you DO have to love what is unique about you, there will always be somebody out there much better than you at everything (if there isn't... well done), this can be an ego blow, especially if you have to be around these people in a work or school environment, the best way to realise your own worth is to appreciate what makes you unique, and as Indian says, that can be the individual way you handle situations, be it sensitivity, your smile, your conversations.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
