I have come to realize in my ponderings that the emotional tampon isn't really something you want to be. Of course. But what I have also come to realize is that the reason it is frowned upon to listen to a girl talk about here relationships is because it appears that you are playing the part of the emotioal tampon. But in truth if you have the qualities and the mindset of a DJ it is impossible to be an emotional tampon.
Emotional tampons are the guys that listen to a girl about her problems and then she doesn't even listen. But a DJ is someone who the girl respects and seeks the approval of and listens to. So she will actually listen to your advice so it's ok to listen to her plus the advice might actually work and then she will be a good friend and also she will try to repay the favor by hooking you up with one of her friends. Well I don't know about the last part but maybe.

Heh. So true. There are girls that spill there whole 'bad day' on you, you respect that she is hurt, you give advice, but shoooonk. Its like your talking to a wall. She doesn't listen to your advice one bit.

And some of the stuff that they tell you is so pointless and sad that it makes your life look like sh!t, when your actually overly happy with it. So bottom line only listen to girls that have real problems and who actually listen to your expert advice. The others are self-centred drama queens who I couldn't give a f**k about.

wow guys come on...... ok so the only reward of listening to the girls prob would be that she might hook you up...ok you dont need her to hook you up...your a dj, do it urself....if a girl is telling me her probs, bring some humor into it and try to cheer her up! be like, Booooorringgggg come on im not Dr. Phil girl...lol you know, do so basically theres not rewards ur wasting ur time.....

Being an emotional tampon sucks... but sometimes girls like it when you listen to their crappy problems....they won't think of you as a guy who just wants *****...
