Has anyone seen the new eHarmony commercial featuring the single mom telling viewers "I was a single mom looking for someone not only for myself but for my son" - then it cuts to the new boyfriend with his arm around her child.

Smart to take advantage of that market niche, but good lord will it make any self respecting man cringe.

I think all of online dating appeals to emotionally damaged and entitled women, including post-wall single mommies. And the commercials usually feature a beta male with a goofy smile babbling something along the lines of "I was tired of being alone. Now I'm getting these silly butterflies in my tummy again!"

Empower the deranged single mothers who are fvcked in the head, that cry about their ex and how it was all his fault. Very VERY few single mothers are good, and even then you're playing with fire by going out with them.

Funny I JUST saw that commercial today while walking past a TV at work and I was shaking my head laughing at that part. Basically the commercial was saying, "I'm a single mother who f*cked up, and I REALLY needed to find some desperate chump to help me... but not just any desperate chump, a desperate chump with some money who I could tolerate. And guess what, I found em! Thanks eHarmony! See girls, it can be done! And for all you desperate guys out there, you too can find a self-entitled financial leech with issues like myself! So what? The majority of divorced women in their 30's are single moms. Plenty of lonely men (men in their 30's and up) will have no problems dating a single mom. They are out to make money off people.
