"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Over the last few months, I've been having success with women that, historically, would have been slightly out of reach for me.

I think this recession is having something to do with it. Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon? That the current economic climate is having a favorable effect on their desirability, all else being equal?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I think it's the lunar cycle. The moon is at its fullest of the year now.

Mike,
I made a post on this a couple weeks ago. In my city, I'd lean towards a yes. Their is definitely a shift towards provisioning being more at the forefront of womens agendas. More people in general are at risk for losing their job, income level, etc. You bet that's going to have an effect on the dating scene.
The thing I'd be careful with is if you are getting more attention you have to take a good look at whose paying you more attention. It could just mean that the girl in play isn't getting her usual fix of fawning attention from guys who are now in economic distress, so she shifts to men who make more coin that are not her usual play list. Get my drift? Sort of like the AW that loses her looks and shifts from bad boy to provider nice guy. If that's the case wave off. She'll switch right back to bad-boy type when he's back in coin.

My hope is you are just more up on your game, and are garnering better women by skill rather than economics.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

A thing that i have to say:

If we lived in a ideal society where everyone has all the food/shelter/ and everyone could have anything they wanted easily, the the "good dad" type of guys would be uselless, and women would just **** whomever they want.

If we lived in a society where only few men could provide security/food, etc, where life is harder, then, women would HAVE to be with them in order to survive(ocasionally sneaking out for the low status/good genes man), or at least live better.

Of course those two situations are extremes, and they cannot exist, but it's probably one of the reasons why poorer countries(like my own, or lets say, a muslim country) will have a lower divorced/single mom rate than rich countries, where women experience more liberties and less responsabilities. And it's also probably why in those countries have less social liberties to go out, meet people, etc, because since life is harder, they cannot give the liberty to women that will allow them to become sngle moms at ages around 15-20.

Then there are those countries that are making the transition from one end of the spectrum to the other. India looks like it is finally making the transition from an ancient Patriarchy to a modern Slutocracy:

I've noticed it. I think the "independant woman" has been unnerved by the fact she may not have a job in the future and is looking for the provider type to help pay for her $200 jeans[not that she'd think of cutting back]

I am continually amazed at how many women lead the sex and the city lifestyle, with all the clothes, and the overprized StarBucks, and the overloaded credit cards... and then they have a job at a non-profit making a little over minimum wage.

It will be interesting to see what happens to them when the Great Depression Part II rolls in. When the easy money is gone, those who built a solid financial foundation will be like an oasis in the desert. We'll have our pick. And that is how it should be, imo.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
