"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I'm posting this in the MM forum to ask you guys with a bit of life experience, do you think having the same size pocketbook as the women you're seeing influences how well you two get along? Have you ever found it awkward to date a girl who is not in your tax bracket? And finally, how much do you think society influences who gets involved with who?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I think it's important if the difference is too great between incomes. I'm not talking about a guy who makes 80k a year with a girl making 70k. But say a guy making 80k and a girl making 37k. I think they will probably be very different people underneath with different levels of ambitions, and that could cause some issues.

I really don't care what a girl earns. I usually am much better off than the girls I date. I usually date younger, and this is the main reason for this. I prefer younger woman. Woman that are highly educated and make good money tend to be know-it-alls and this is a huge turn off for me.

I like my woman submissive. From my reallife experiences woman with a masters degree plus are not submissive. There main priority is to take care of themselves and not you.

I don't care what a girl earns. I am oldschool and see myself as the provider so it does not bother me.

IMO it's not about how much one earns, it's about how both people treat money. I know one guy making a ton, girlfriend does not, both spend more than they should and they are happy together, albeit maybe not later when they settle down and reflect on their bad habits. I make good money but I live a simply lifestyle and if a girl does as well, whether she makes 30K or 80K I'm gonna be happy and get along with her. So I think it's lifestyle choice moreso than the absolute salary.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Economic compatibility = both having similar spending habits (eg- both live frugal life or both love to spend money).

That's the true definition of economic compatibility. And yes, it is extremely important in MARRIAGE.

Now...SALARY compatibily is what you are referring to. Is this important? For most women it is when picking a man for a SERIOUS relationship. However...it is not that important for the success of a marriage. The important thing is economic compatibility also known as same spending habits. Why I use the term "marriage"? Because the only time you might TRULY lose 100% control of your finances in a relationship is during marriage.

Note: If I make 6 figures and I meet a woman that only makes 30k...BUT she works in a Museum or in one of those non-profit organizations and she has similar goals to mine and is compatible in other aspects (including her spending habits - aka: "economic compability"), you can rest assure I would date her and consider her for a serious long term relationship. Heck, I think I make 40 or 50k more than my current girlfriend.

my opinion is if I go through all the work to better my self, education and career wise, I want somone on my level. Atleast on my level. 50/50, if I gotta suffer, sweat and spend money on self emprovemnt then my mate will too. No trophy wife here. Look at it this way, if you are great looking do you want some one who is ugly?

couldn't have said it better myself

it's not how much you make but how you treat money that's important.

I know car salesman that literary make about 200k a year, and live month to month. not necessary month to month but the kind of money they make, you'd think they would be living alot more comfortably then they are now. now they HAVE to make that. There is an old saying in the car business... get in debt, and work it out... car sales man by nature are old school.. not necessary a good think

there isn't a woman (at least that I have met) that comes close to what I make a year.. if I were waiting for that to come along, I'd be doing a lot of jacking off... no one knows how much I make a year so that helps, but they can also tell I'm not necessarily hurting for money, although I'll never ever throw out a figure.

what I look for is value in morals. What type of car do you drive and why? What's your Debt situation looking like? What's your outgoing income per month and why? It's okay to have a little fun, but do you take it overboard? is the the kind of person that has to pay for all her friends when she goes out (nothing is worse.. because YOU become the guy paying for her all her friends if you date). Do you own or rent your house? Do you go on a shopping spree everytime you get a credit card in the mail?

People with poor mindsets will be poor regardless of how much money you give them. On the flip,I can't stand penny punchers. I do a very good job of saving money, etc, but if I see something I really want.. fvck it. you only live once. No woman will ever be in control of my finances, but even if you are dating, I don't want to come home and hear it because i spent 3k on a new suit I feel in love with.... or even worse, her thinking she is in line for mini shopping spree because of it.

when I sold cars a long time ago, nothing was more nut crushing than a man.. and mind you, i had credit apps in front of me, I knew EVERYthing they had... could afford the store if he wanted, literary with tears in his eyes, because he KnEW his wife wouldn't let him have that Mercedes we had out on the lot, and that was his dream car.. seen it happen a couple of times (the one thing I do miss about selling cars...demo's)

I once dated.. well not dated but fvcked a woman that made about 80k a year.. and literary would be asking me for gas money. couldn't keep a paycheck. and she was a teacher with a masters degree to boot!

I don't know how she does it, but my old oneitis, who hasn't worked a day in her life, is the most frugal person I have ever met. I guess being hot is paying job within it's self. Plenty of times she would take ME out to eat and wouldn't let me pay. Every year I get a VErY nice Christmas present from her.. like 200-300 buck gift present. the only person I actually look forward to getting a gift from. AND SHE DOESN'T HAVE A JOB! I know her mom gives her money from time to time.. but damn. She tells me "yeah I just save here and there" but still.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
