I would suggest you get a higher quality photo.

A photographer explained to me one time that the quality of a photo can strongly reflect the character of the person it features. A scruffy photo might indicate a scruffy person. Lighting also plays a big effect as poor lighting can make the picture look depressing and imply you are a depressing person to be around.

It's all psychological, but speaking honestly, the poor lighting in your first picture did give me the impression of you as a miserable person.

Bear this thought in mind when you browse women online and ask yourself what kind of impression you get of the person based on the quality and lighting of the picture.

Girls always respond well to a man who has manners. Most guys on the net are rude and disturbing. You have to basically tell her right from the start that you are different.

For the record, a line like this might sound humble and go against the DJ teachings, but I can say from years of experience that an introduction like this goes down very well in most situations with most people. Sometimes I'll say "I hope you don't mind..." or "Sorry to trouble you, but..." but it all has the same effect.

It's actually very hard for people to respond negatively to you when you use lines such as this because it makes them look and feel ignorant. And yes, it's sure to make you stand out from the 100s of disrespectful idiots these women are used to turning down.
