"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Hey,

I know there's ****loads of DYD threads already, but I suggest the main reason why Im making another thread about this, is that Id like to talk about the advanced series in a spirit of sharing ideas and experiences with the Advanced Series as framework.

So please, keep your flaming, calling names with no extra info, etc... for yourself. I will -and I hope some other people who want to get into this - do everything I can to ignore the flaming anyway.
If you got comments, please stay positive.
Otherwise I realize any reply would encourage you to keep talking out of your anus anyway. Another thing: think of replying when you know the series.
One can tell right from the start if you did or not.

I think its very important to be critical and im not saying that the Advanced Series are THE ONE AND ONLY way to get your game, nothing is.

Nothing is 100% immaculate, everyone is different. Not all the ideas are exactly for anyone etc...

I personally am working on the idea that Eric threw in there. When I get to know a woman a little better and we hit the subject of relationships, they often tell me something that comes down to:"I dont want any relationship".
A downward test, right.
Now, I think this sort of conversation lends itself perfectly to laugh and go like: "Oh, having a hard time with men?"
Presupposed they're gonna say something negative, you can go like eric: "well whats your normal experience with a man."
then you can get into the scale thing with the feathertouch.
You wanna do just the stroke on the cheaks and then STOP.
You can say: "well there's a bunch of levels to this but I dont know you at that level, so there you go. At least you have some ideas to play with now"
Then drop the subject entirely. Dont bring it up. She might bring it up again even then just acknowledge it and remind her of that little thing, nothing more.
Its like you just educate, hand them some useful info. You're being sincere, comfortable, ambiguous, your setting a golden standard, you're saying that your about making women feel good, all in one little thing.

cheers,

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

just a quick thing about that eric thing....

seems like a powerful example based around being confident with whatever you do, as opposed to 'trying' something....even tho this is 'trying' something to us.

If you can get your head around it....by the time you are comfortable with things, THAT wont be trying at all,

its a case of letting things come to you, rather than searching for them, even if you get the same result.

BIG difference. I think the former is what we should all aspire to, rather than becoming robots repeating endless verse....

A tailor made message from yourself, for instance, with the core meaning of what was said to that girl in the example, is much better than trying to pull one on her....it shows class.

if you chase- she runs, right.

nature in action.

AS for dyd series, i have seen it.

It is good. Its complete, its a package, it could be improved on (by david himself) but for what it is, its ideal....its like a boot camp just before the soldiers get the guns.....then they need to use them (which is the key that unlocks the desired result).

Put simply, good programm, but it requires that you go out and put it to the test and make your own experiences....

and working from the inside out is the bets way to do things, as david tells people....its who you are, not what you do initially.

Those are good points.

I always make sure that whetever Im gonna say, I rethink the situation and decide where my level of authority was. Doesnt require a lot of thinking luckily since thinking about it presupposes doubt and doubt itself is already a no-no for authority.

So till now im noticing that its dead easy for me to ask: "Oh you're having a hard time with men" with this sly smile.

And I can notice a shift in response that DYD makes me interpret as: "hey he didnt just buckle and is actually having a good time with my complaints"

also: pulling back, not chasing and that whole "silent power thing"
it really IS golden. There's this one girl im in class with and there's this other guy im friends with and she's starting to tell me she's in love with him.
me: "Good, go do your thing then"
he wasnt there that night. the further i pushed her away the harder she came back, while there was even another guy buying her drinks all the time.
Now I dont really want her, so I take each bait as just that ..just have a good time with it.

Man, such good stuff....

has to be said that all that was under serious not so sober circumstances. ... but still

Today in school was OK I guess.
We have workgroups where students do all the talking. We sit in a circle then.
So I throw in some jokes like: Just give my some time to get my **** together and ill start talking if no one else does. This isnt a joke but its like a huge social energy ball to do in awkward silences in groups.
I also noticed that the people I share my subtask for this module with are all women, so I said: " well I wanna see the movie beforehand so you give me your email.
Of course the task killed all the romantic connotations anyway but she gave me her personal emailadress not her schooladres. Probably a somewhat more subconcious choice.
Later during the break there's this chick who always dresses a little whacky and is always trying to be funny. She 's sorta cute...
anyway she's doing these silly little dances out of boredom and spinning with her skirt. then she started that is really cool she can do that. bla bla, i cant remember who brought up kilts.

Then she went: I dont think Im gonna spin any harder ... got no sexy stuff under it.
Me thinking: man this is SCREAMING for something funny... couldnt come up with something.
Still.... There's still a way to bring it up again.
For instance when there's people around us again i can go: yeah you and your unsexy stuff under your skirt, when do you ever learn."

just playing with some ideas here. ,,,,

Anyone ever had this happen:

I was over with a friend of mine at a rather hip place in, we were all dancing and doin those moves. There were a lot of hot looking women. Very few women were not only hot looking but also radiated QUALITY as in subtle presence, body language, attitude,..

well guess what, me and one of those qualitywomen made eyecontact but I didnt consider it too big of deal because thats what happens in places like that anyway. THEN we made eyecontact again which triggered this slow, sly, suh-weet smile of her cute lil face.
All I could think of was fvk now what. Well she left no longer after that.

Of course what I should have done pull her shirt lightly, nod and continue the dancing. and see where that goes.

Anyone has any better ideas.
I know DYD: if you dont know what to do in a particular situation and its freaking you out, simply dont get involved.
Given the fact that I look more like a rocker with my long hair, sideburns, little earring and unshaved appearance I never expected to get these kind of obvious hints from quality women in places like that!
Next day I was over in an Irish pub by myself with my backpack because. It was another hour before my bus arrived so I decided to go for a coffee. I enter the pub, sits there a cute italian looking gal reading a book looking at me smiling at me, making me all freeze and nod my head slowly with a sly smile.
5 minutes later I decide to ask to watch my stuff because I had to go to the toilet. By that time she sits there with her boyfriend.

Any Ideas to handle those kind of things. Looks like im getting hang of things without fully realising it. I havent really done any exercises on self image or body language yet, just adjusting my body when I become aware of it which doesnt happen too often,...

Cheers

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

It helps when you expect a good thing to happen to you and think you deserve it. One time a girl said hello to me and I turned around to see who she was talking to. That wasn't so cool.

Oh man, that never happened to me but with the mindset thats still dominant in my sometimes so fried brain I wouldnt be surprised if I'd be looking around.

Funny tho.

Today I found myself sortof spontaneously C&F in a sort of stupid ass rockbar in the midst of this eastersunday located at the big village-town where I study:

When I went back outside to the terrace coming from the toilet all the chicks somehow were standing at the doorway out and there was no way to get through without interaction anyway (yeah I know) I thought just moving an empty barstool was rather lame and guess what I did. I moved the goddamn barstool to go outside as quick as possible.

Then out of the blue I went: "You guys trying to keep me from runnin away from you?" they cracked up and one of em even responded. I was so amazed with myself I couldnt even pick up what the girl was saying and had to run outside. Total shock.
I actually kind of start to love these kind of stupid situations where I tend to screw up so innocently but at the same time make gradual improvement.
Its also funny how this thread I started was initially meant to be an advanced series discussion but turns out to be more of a no-bootcamp journal of mine.

So if anyone of you moderators is listening, I wouldnt mind having the topic tiltle changed.
I rather not start another thread because there are already all these numerous threads which already make it hard to run through.

Today I listened to David D's interview with Stephen and I got AHA-struck by lightning by a number of things he said.
The main one was about fear of approaching, which I found to be killer:
By the way dont shoot me if similar stuff is in the bible - NO I havent read the entire bible since it is very repetitive and amateuristically worked out. Then again I dont BLAME the bible for being amateuristically worked out because I als enjoy the fact that anyone can contribute on this kind of material. You have to pay for deangelo's material and the main reason you pay for that material is that the information is well sorted out, not that its better than the bilbe.
time is money and you have to strike a balance.
Edit: I really enjoy tapping into the bible and I think its economical as well as intrinsic value does very much compete with priced material such as DYD. I hope you get what angle Im coming from here. I know that DYD is also repetetive but in a more rigid way. And I also do not mean repetetive and amateuristic in a disrespectful way eventho I admit that those words have that ring to them. I also admit that im too lazy right now to come up with better words.
Allright after this rather ranting teaser.

"Yes when you are afraid of approaching there's fear of failure and also fear of rejection. But what it really is is that its testing yourself if you really are who you think you are in your head. That there might be more than this world in your head where you are your own God."

Of course this is kind of paradoxical to the idea that your thoughts are your reality but guess what, after a while the God in your head becomes equal with the outside world if you practice,... the internal and external world will balance out if you test how the God in your head matches with life experience.

My two cents for today which obviouly has been a good day.

Talk to you soon,

Cheers

As much as I support the idea that David D does an uttermost amazing job, not all of his interviews are all that, I just listened to Richards interview that one was rather meh, apart from a couple of ideas here and there

BTW do you mean a David D interview with a guy called "Guy"
or do you mean: "Guys, David D interviews are pretty good?"

;)

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I meant that some of his interviews are good.

They are interesting that is, but overpriced.

PM me for more details.

Damn, this Don Juan discussion needs split into subfora really bad, Threads keep on poored.

I could start yet another thread because I want some assistance on common situations, but then Id contribute to this endless stream of yada yada threads

Im planning on taking the train to Brussels very soon to go out sarging on my own a little bit.
Im making lists of body language, clothing, and common situations
I basically want to do the 3 things to say in each common situation thing. When Im ready with that, I have rehearsed the ones that I do have so it shouldnt take long before I have the rest handled

1. You walk down the street and you make eyecontact

1.a. "Hi"
1.b. "Hi, I just saw you looking at me, whats your name"
1c. .........

2. Youre sitting on a terrace reading something and you see someone you like.

2.a. I have no Idea ....
2.b. ..........
2.c. .........

3.You're sitting in a bus, train, you're waiting for a bus

3.a. "taking the bus kicks ass" (again no Idea)
3.b. ......
3.c. ......

4. You're walking around somewhere and you're bumping into someone

4.a. "Hooligan!"
4.b. "Hey,where you just aiming for my ass??"
4.c. "Easy tiger"
(#4 is so easy, I dont know why....)

5. You're standing in line somewhere

5.a. ....
5.b. ....
5.c. ....

6. ....

Allright here's the deal.
Feel free to copy and paste this list of situations, but note that I might modify to my norms. Not that I need this for an egoboost or need to be an anvshole, but I can imagine this has potential to get out of hand.
However I will reduce the modifying to what I think is a minimum. So as long as the list is short enough I will not modify

Lets say I will start selecting starting from 20 situations with in each situation a list of 10 things to say.

Still if the list doesnt grow quick enough, I will make this a new thread.

If there's already something like this around, please let me know and consider the above unwritten.

Allright I hope all this sounds reasonable enough for you guys.

Wow, that works lol

anyway, Ive been out this weekend. Took the train to a town I didnt know to go out and be social to strangers.

Well it went unplanned and I got punished immediately. It was last saterday in the late afternoon when I went into action. Too late. The town had very few people running around, it didnt look interesting. Tried to say hi but it felt awkward as hell. I did do a few hi's though. Some hip attitude guy with a mp3 player walked down the street, nodded to him and his face all changed and got suprised. Kinda cool.

Today I was riding my bike in some village where two girls were walking along the street ranting about whatever while staring at me passing by, so I went "hi", they instantly shut down staring at me haha. This was not to be interpreted as rejection but pure insecurity I guess. Total shock.

What I improved: Im becoming very confident about the way Im saying hi. practicing saying hi really starts to pay off. Now it sounds like im just having a good time saying hi, without sounding like a cheeseball.
Here's the trick: walk down streets with fun music in your head, tap some rithms, whistle, whatever, look around now and then with the attitude of: hey lets see if there's some music in other people too when you catch eyecontact say hi.

This sounds very fruitcakish actually. Its hard to explain how you do this with the right, dominant, good-mood frame. Sometimes it works like a positive shockwave, sometimes it dont. The more I do it the more it does
Hammered to death but for the sake of repetition is the mother of skill: this where good old practice comes in.
Off course you want to have your basic DJ body language going on too.

Havent got any smiles from women all weekend. The weathers been awesome here in Belgium though

Damn
