"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

The more I read the messages in this board, the more I realized that most of the guys are in a better position than me, in terms of having some experience.

It seems that most of the guys here have had girlfriends, which leads me to my question. This is directed towards guys around my age, 19-21. How did you hook-up with your past girlfriends? Did you ask her out right away the first time you saw her? Please explain at what point you two started dating? How did it progress from the time you first met?

I'm really curious because I have never had a girlfriend. On campus I see this normal looking guys(even ugly guys) with girlfriends and I wonder, how did they hook up? Who talked to whom first?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Well you may be surprised, but most guys here DON'T have girlfriends. Notice the shortage of replies to this post and I asked a similar question ages ago and got no responses (compared to, say, mastubation threads?) I believe most guys here are more into playing the field.

Anyway, back to the point...my last girlfriends started out as friends I met via friends and from there things developed. I wrote about this here:

everywhere,nowhere
most if not all of my relationships when i was 14-19
were actually quite serious for how old i was.
i usually met them as friends first and then as time
went by the feelings got more intense and created into
something more. for me anyways it was much easier then it
is now ( in my 20's) everyone is into getting their
carreers started , going back for more school , wanting to
find more meaningfull relationships or wanting to get married.

i make it a concious effort NEVER to verbally express
my interest to the girl but to let the actions speak for
themselves.Taking them out on fun dates, doing things etc.
sending strong signals then acting casual and not talking
to them for a few days. They are usually the ones that
make the transition verbally into something more.
the last girl i was with seriouslly i waited something like
two months before i even asked her to be my girl,
eventhough we slept together in only three weeks of
meeting. She told me she was about to explode from
not knowing where we stood in terms of relationship/friendship.
