She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.
You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.
The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
Yeah, a deer can do some damage to people on any motorized bikes because you're right out in the open.Originally posted by Centaurion
Where I live, a kid died after hitting a deer with his scooter.
What a lousy way to go.
Damn it, I STILL made it to visit with my fiance' at the prison.

People don't go out and hit deer on purpose...and honestly, it's not about how smart or dumb a person is. It's dumb luck. They can be in the bushes and you don't even see them and they'll jump right in front of you without any warning at all.Originally posted by diplomatic_lies
Deer don't kill people, stupid people get killed when they ram their car into a deer and hit a tree.
On a slightly related note, I don't like people who hunt deer for the sake of hunting (as opposed to hunting for food or to defend themselves). Kind of wimpy when some guy wearing night vision goggles and a machinegun sprays 10,000 bullets into the forest against unarmed deer. At least hunt them with your bare hands.
I hit one a few nights ago. Luckily I was coming out of a speed zone so I only had to slow down from 50. I probably hit it at about 25. I was dark so I couldn't find the doe, but it probably ran off. It left a basketball-sized dent on my hood so I think I can have it hammered out cheaply, but it's still not an expense I want as I'm unemployed.Originally posted by Dillinger
On my way to and from work i see a lot of deer crossing signs. I have seen deer maybe three different times. I am scared to death of deer, i didn't know if anybody else had the same issue or any tips.

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
I still have a fondness for the old .300 Savage I won at a turkey shoot when I was 12.Originally posted by Sicarius
Wildfire, of all guns, regardless of purpose, whats your favorite
No I'm not. I'm almost old enough to be your Momma...am a single mother, divorce, was married to an abuser and refuse to tolerate disrespect or BS.Originally posted by Sicarius
Aw, Wildfire, you're -so- my kind of woman!
I have two daughters. One is low maintenance, down to earth, kind, talented artist, doesn't like guns but loves camping and stuff. She gets HEINOUS PMS, though. She's a good girl through and through and if any man ever hurts her I'll have his legs broken.Originally posted by Sicarius
In that case, your daughter, if any, if she's smart enough to give me the image that I want in women, is -so- my kinda woman.
One of the few images, at least.
Hah; we are such suckers for our own dreams.
