Hi all

Long story short, I've missed on many great opportunities (getting to know hot women and a possible great relationship) due to the lack of my social skills.

More and more girls are telling me that they think I'm just too silent after they initially told me they found me attractive.

I've also missed on girls checking me out to which I was very attracted but I was just too shy, didn't know what to say...

Help me out, I'm getting mad and depressed and even more silent because of this fact. I'm thinking "god damn I know I can get these girls if I was a normal, good conversationalist", but it won't happen.
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

The fix to your dilemma is to make small talk with people, both male and female throughout the day.

Don't look for a payoff; just take an interest in others and talk about anything in the environment you share.

Ask people about their jobs, make positive comments about what they're doing, etc.

75% of people will respond in a positive manner. 20 to 25% will be unfriendly and portion of those will even be rude. Those are the numbers, so never let the sour pusses ruin your mood. The problem is with them, not with you.

Small-talk turned me from being highly socially retarded as recently as 7 years ago into the well-versed, respected man I am today.

Daily small-talk is a magic key that opens up new worlds to the socially underdeveloped man.

i have an old friend like you with exactly the same problems

and I'm sorry to say but a majority of his problems stem from him not wanting to put any work in for the end product

he dosent want to have to work hard to better himself he wants a quick fix

there is always an excuse as to why he couldnt approach this chick or that chick

always an excuse when a girl was interested but then lost interest because he was boring

eventually i got fed up of the constant excuses he could never understand why i did so well with women and couldn't understand that to get women you've got to understand women

anyway i don't hang around with him much anymore because he's so annoying

but i would seriously suggest you start looking at how to converse with people

long story short nobody is going to come along with a magic pill and give you better social skills

you've got to go out there and earn them yourself :rockon:
