"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Check it out:

My GF comes over to my house fresh from the library this afternoon with a small stack of books. Dr. Phil's 'Love Smart' is in the pile. Why, God?

This is, as I later found out, a book geared towards women to help them better understand men and the things we do and why.

So, while I'm outside wrapping my oil furnace line with insulation (it's cold, baby!), she's on my nice warm couch reading by a fire. Classic.

You think you know where this is going, huh?

So like, an hour later I'm making dinner and she comes and starts reading dr. f*cking Phil to me. And, surprising to say, Dr. Phil actually nailed some fundamental sh*t right on the head.

I can't quote anything, and I'm not gonna go read it right now, but several things he said about how guys act as far as (not) paying attention to women, prioritizing things, talking on the phone, etc were right on.

So long story short, my GF decides that since Dr. Phil's word is absolute gospel, I'm off the hook for getting off the phone with her early, watching football and not paying attention to her, forgetting anniversaries, etc.

Although I think 'Dr.' Phil is a complete vagina, it sure is nice to know that he's at least sticking up for men in some regards.

Weird. Even though my girl never flips me sh*t for anything, it's nice to know that things can be reinforced by a man that women find to be a relationship repair man.

Thoughts?

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

I don't think its a good thing. You may get off the hook with this particular girl, but I think the majority of chicks that happen to read this book won't think its so amusing. Not that I care, because honestly, how many chicks my age are gonna read dr. phil?

I do like the term you use on him. He is a vagina, a big blubbering one.

I wouldn't sell Dr. Phil short just because most of his audience is women, when it comes down to the dynamics of a relationship he knows his stuff. A few years back I saw him lecture at a convention and he came down as hard if not harder on the women. At one time he told them that they needed to stop treating their husbands as if they were their girlfriends and that they need to talk to them as the loving MALE partners that they married.

He did go on to tell them how to go about doing that but it was funny every time a woman asked about a typical relationship problem where she was trying to get her husband to do something but it didn't work. Each time they tried to make it sound as if it were the man's fault and Dr. Phil would say "so how's that working for 'ya?" She would say it doesn't and he would say "so why keep doing it??!!" It was some funny sh1t. :p

Kinda off topic, but I just thought I'd point out, Dr. Phil soundboards, they're awesome for prank phone calls.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Try to say the same sh1t Dr. Phil says to these women and they'll look at you like you're crazy. They'd never have listened to him if Oprah hadn't been patting him on the back... which seems odd to me since Oprah is so full of sh1t yet approves of Dr. Phil..?

I've seen him a few times where he's just as full of sh1t as any woman but for the most part I like his "just say it like it is" style that most people can't get away with.

I should get my buddy to read this thread.. he's having problems with his girlfriend getting mad because he doesn't answer the phone... but when he does answer the phone she's like "why are you answering the phone if you're busy?! i told you not to do that." But if he doesn't answer the phone she'll leave him 5 txt msgs saying "why don't you want to talk to me??" classic

He pulled her tit out of a judicial wringer by making her pull her own head out of her ass. The fact is that you have people out there who would rather be right that do what actually works. They will keep doing the same thing over and over thinking that eventually it will work even though it hadn't 101 times before. Didn't Ben Franklin say that was the definition of insanity? Those women may look at you like you're crazy when this pointed out to them but what is true insanity are the guys who continue to pursue this type of woman.

Years ago Oprah did a show about Mad Cow disease and after hearing what it could do to a person and on the show she said that she wouldn't eat any more beef. The Cattlemen Association sued her saying that her comment had done irreparable damage to the beef industry.

Oprah hired Dr. Phil's company which did court consulting to help her prepare for the case. Instead of focusing on the facts of the case she couldn't get past the injustice of someone suing her for just speaking her mind. Phil basically told her to get real and taught her how to step up and defend herself and her corporation.

Oprah won basically from what he had taught her because she would lost billions of dollars going the route that she was originally on. She was impressed by how he realistically saw things without any preconceived filters and talked him into writing a book and appearing on her show periodically. With her tutelage her ratings went up, his earnings went up and the rest is history.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
