door dings

Some idiot opened his car door on my car and put a pretty harsh door ding on the door of my car. I have driven junk cars and nothing ever happened, but the minute i have a nice car some jerk off takes the liberty to f it up. I try to park away from other cars, yet it still didn't prevent some senseless act from happening.

Any suggestions on how to fix it? I'm thinking my only option is to fork over big $ and have it fixed.

oh well if you dont really know how to fix those types of things i wouldnt begin practicing on a mercedes....take it to some body shop, and shop around for the best price. Deffintly dont take it to a mercedes dealer though.

If you want cheap then go to your local auto body shop. They'll do it a lot cheaper than a mercedes dealer.

what kinda of merxedes? what year and model? just curious...i have a white 97 bmw z3 myself...i get compliments all the time. sure its not the newest ride but it looks like it could be a 2002 or something since the design is almost same. i think the design of the z3 was way ahead of its time.

Yeah, I think the Z3 looks a lot better than the new Z4. BMW used to make a fine looking automobile, but sadly, with the exception of the 3 series, which has remained true, they only make ugly cars now. They ruined the 7 and 5 series.

No. I but I have a suggestion that can save you money in teh future: when you park, look at the size of the doors of the cars next to your car: if they have 2 doors, they are usually huge...and dangerous.
So try to park far from these cars.

Even more important: try to park close to the car that is parked to your car with a passenger side - usually there is only one person, the driver in the car. And he is the only person who is gonna open his door from teh other side.

So: look for 4 doors cars and their passnegre sides. Try topark close the that kind of car and farther from 3 doors that are parker with driver sides to yoru car.
