The thing about violent neighborhoods, ie "the ghetto", is that for a lot of young folks growing up, there is a huge amount of value placed on respect. Because, for a lot of people, that's all they have...

When the neighborhood respects you, you survive.

Keep that in mind when a group is talking sh!t to you. Especially if they outnumber you. There's usually a leader "alpha" of the group. That guy is the one that's showing off, trying to gain respect.

There's nothing wrong with backing down when you are outnumbered. You are not weak saying, "I'm not going to fight you guys".

Don't get backed into a corner though. Fighting is an all-or-nothing event. Avoid it, but if you do have to fight, unleash h3ll, because you are fighting for your right to live.

What amuses me is how these "gangbangers" act like they are real tough, and yet they always need a gun or a gang to back them up. When I think "gangbangers" I think cowards and pvssies.

Maybe the real gangsters in 3 piece suits should stop selling guns and drugs. That'll keep more families together. Handing out crack in the 80s didn't help. Punk police doesn't help they just keep it moving in the direction the political gangsters want it to. They put in place gang injunctions, they bait killers, take advantage of people, they're crooked, all that. You already know.

And if these gangsters in 3 piece suits really want to build up neighborhoods, they don't need 10-word programs. Take the liquor stores off every corner, put some produce stores there, if you're gonna redevelop housing don't raise prices (what do you think taxes are for), and when they put in large companies and chains, actually employ people from the neighborhood. Oh but "they're too stupid" well then provide them with the damn educational opportunities.
